Summary: Starcraft is a great game and sharpens your mind.
Review: I have played starcraft for a long time now,and I still like it. I truly belive that it sharpens your mind because it makes you build and manage your base while building defense to stop attacks!!! Plus,if you like to do things your way,you can create your own map to slauter Zerg or what ever other race you want to!!! The storylines are deep and realistic so even the most picky gamer will like it. You can play online at Battle.net for absolutly free against people all around the world!!!

Summary: A WASTE OF MONEY! Another clone
Review: First of all, Starcraft has the worst, most confusing storyline ever. I mean, first of all, evolution can never happen. But about the gameplay, this game gets SOOOOOO annoying! Like when you train a firebat, when they come out of the barracks, they say something like, "Burn" and how would you like 50 firebats saying, "Burrrn, Baabbby" at the same time? Plus, why can you only select a few units at a time? The sound effects are annoying and so fake, and I can't help it to say that it's the worst game I've ever played. The view is too close and at a bad angle, and the graphics are really horrible, I mean, have you seen the nuke? It's smaller than a tank and looks like a satellite! Plus, some of the missions make it look like you're playing on a hovering platform, and the Terran ship looks like a Star Wars graphic cutout. The gameplay gets boring after a few multiplayer games and after you beat the game, and the codes are so easy to find! The units aren't good, the gameplay is boring, the storyline was written by a 5 year old or a 40 year old man in a mid-life crisis. Go for Command and Conquer, Red Alert, TS, Dark Reign 2, or any other RTS game that doesn't have to do anything with Starcraft.

Summary: A good fun SF title.
Review: StarCraft is always fun, although you start getting bored with the same old sprites after a while. The balance of three different races is great, although you'll have to download patches for the latest game balance (necessary for Internet play). Gameplay itself is easy to get a grip on, blut very hard to master. Still, the game allows players to just build up big, powerful units and bulldoze to victory.

Summary: I bought this game at the age of ten, and still playing it
Review: For the last 2 years, I have played Starcraft. I find it as exhilerating as ever, and with the multiplayer forum, the fun can last you forever, I reccomend that you buy this game as soon as possible

Summary: The best $50 I ever spent (and now you can get it for $20)
Review: Starcraft offers the most replayability of any computer game I have ever played, ever. All my friends have bought Sega Dreamcasts, Diablo 2, and other new games and systems since the release of Starcraft, but we STILL get together every week to play multiplayer Starcraft. Talk about aging well. Make sure to get Brood War, too. A classic in the best possible sense.

Summary: Good RTS
Review: This is a good RTS although it comes in 2nd to Age of EmpiresII. The races in this game are a lot more fun that those of age of empires. Also their isnt as much resource starvation as in AOE. Starcraft is also more fast paced and I think overall is a better multiplayer game due to battle.net's easy play and go layout. Overall, this is the best real time strategy you are going to get for its $20 price on amazon.com PICK IT UP!

Summary: By FAR, the best strategy game of the year!
Review: I would rank this as the 2nd greatest strategy game of all time because of its extremely detailed graphics, fun and fast-paced game play, story line, and its very cool characters and enemys. I promise you, this will keep you glued to your computer moniter for hours on end! A VERY entertaining game! Only the classic Command & Conquer outranks Starcraft. If you havn't got Starcraft yet, I highly recommend you buy it!

Summary: Possibly the best game of all time
Review: I have played lots of blizzered games Warcraft,Warcraft 2 Diablo and diablo 2 but starcraft still leaves me wanting more. its one of those games you know will be popular forever. The graphics may not be the best ever but it makes up for it in gameplay. it isn't on of those games that are impossible to beat all it takes is time. the expantion pack brood war is one of those games thats impossible to beat. it becomes so difficult you would want to throw your keybord out the window. but it is still a great game nothing can beat StarCraft

Summary: Not worth your time...
Review: Starcraft, or should I say "Warcraft in Space" is yet another dull attempt by Blizzard to make a Real Time Strategy game that can contend with the likes of Total Annihilation and Command and Conquer. I loved the Warcraft series mainly because it pushed the RTS genre to new heights, but regretfully Starcraft only hurts what Warcraft helped create. The graphics in Starcraft are nothing spectacular, especially compared to Total Annihilations 3D units and various landscapes. The music isn't much better. But the thing that annoyed me the most is the gameplay. Every stage you have to upgrade the same crap! Plus you can only control 12 units at a time. It's so annoying waging a war with squads of 12 units. Almost every other RTS game can hold an infinite number of soldiers. My next problem is the lack of units. There's maybe 20 units per race. 1 or 2 infantry units, a few vehicles, and 2 or 3 planes. Whereas Total Annihilation(I keep going back to TA mainly because this game came out almost a YEAR before Starcraft) has about 200 units per race with the option to download more from the internet. The storyline is also pretty bad. It's basically a brief conversation between each mission. The Command and Conquer and Warcraft series had incredibly enthralling stories that had me on the edge of my seat before each mission. All in all I can't recommend Starcraft to anyone, I know everyone else loves it, but I've played plenty of RTS games and this is truly not one of the better ones.

Summary: The greatest strategy game of all time.
Review: I have played Star Craft for many years and I believe this is still the greatest strategy game ever. The story line is the most interesting one I have ever heard. This is a must buy!
