Summary: Teaches children about world-wide problems
Review: This game has a simple plot, build a safari resort/lodge capable of bringing in money galore for the village it's next to, make a profit for yourself, and support the vast rolling plains with the diverse animals and plant-life. You make money by building and buying items for the resort, then transoprt the toursits, via trucks you bought, through the savanna to see the vast herds. They then go and spread the safari's pros and cons by word of mouth to their friends who come and so forth. The more amenities you have, the more people you bring in. This game is good for small children in that it poses questions to them regarding actual problems in the rolling plains and the naimal life of Africa. I would especially reccommend it for teachers and the like in that it can be used easily for children since it truly is "fun and educational". It is difficult to balance a profit with bringing in and balancing your ecosphere while keeping the village happy. But that makes it all the more fun. The only reason it gets four stars and not five is that it is too childish. I, being sixteen, feel that I am above such childish programs, but even I have to admit that it is fun. If you're a teacher, tell them it's educational, if you;re a parent, tell them it's fun. Either way, you're telling the truth. This game is one that you definately should buy.

Summary: Somewhere on the veldt...
Review: This game is cute--the graphics are good (better than some Sim games I've played--plenty of nifty animals with nice animated pictures in the information windows) and it's not too challenging. Young gamers will no doubt enjoy it immensely, though I found myself wishing there wasn't so much clicking involved in the statistics interface and that my three "advisors" had something more intelligent to say. It also would've been nice if my jeeps had stuck to those nice dirt roads I dug for them instead of getting marooned in the grass (hmm...no word from my ecologist on how many tourists devoured by lions...) The 4 missions are decently challenging, but more tasks would've made this a better game. Overall, not bad for a sim, but too simple.

Summary: Fun, but where does it end?
Review: This game is fun in setting everything up first. The camp is the most difficult because you have to have to watch where you place the roads because you have to place the camp trails and the housing too. My suggestion is to place the road going all the way around the edges, then come down the middle.
Anyway, the biggest problem is the staff. If you hire to many, you may end up having to fire some and then they get angry and won't come back to work for you anymore, but then your camp suffers because you don't have enough employees. When you take time away from the animal park to fix these problems, your animal pop. diminishes and you loose safari guests.
My biggest question is where does the game end? I have gotten up to 5 stars several times, but when the animal pop. isn't diverse enough, it drops to 4 stars, then 3 then back up to 4. It never locks in like the other games, ex. Sim Tower. You just toggle back and forth between stars. So, when do you win? HOW do you win? That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But watching the animals walk around and having so many to choose from is fantastic, and the camp is great to watch the little sims walk around and in and out of their houses.
