Summary: Impressive
Review: A rather amazing game. The graphics are just so good and very very life like. I you feel like a relaxing and cheap football game then this is the one for you. Its very easy to get used to and within a season or two you will be the champion no doubt about it. I havent tried it but the online feature must be rather cool as you could play it with friend that also has it and just have a bit of fun, well that is all that it is about. There are also three levels that you can play on so you don't have to be a great player to start off with, you can grow your football skill as you play. Even the skills that you can make the players do are reaistic. Have you thought what might be lacking in other football games when taking a penalty? Well look no further, you can control the keeper and make a very wide variety of dives to save the ball. Also when taking one, there are so many different types of shot to make, i dunno about 10 ish, but there may be more. But on the down side if you are looking to be a good manager then the money and buying players is not very good, as i cannot get my head around the money as it is not in pounds or millions or what! And the transfers are a little strange as well as you do not put a bid in for a player but simply give a bit on money across and take the player straight away - which is strange. But that really does depend on weather you want a managing game or just to play? If you just want to play matches then i highly recommend this. You will not be disappointed! I wander if there will ever be a game with great graphical games and very detailed managing? We really need championship manager and fifa 2000 mixed in together!

Summary: Why with FIFA?
Review: EA sport is the "Microsoft" of sports software. I love their sport games since I first played it,and I did not hesitate is chosing form who to buy my first soccer title. When I first play it I notice that the graphics are good and the handling is O.K ( I use the Sidewinder). Then Owning a couple of 2000 titles already I noticed that the faces of the players are not theirs, is computer generated. Then when you get to the championship game and you win a cup, the cup is a computer generated polygon shape, tryin to look like a trophy. In NHL 2000 the cup looks as if you are watching it on T.V. The MLS teams you can only play it in exhibition or a custom cup, but you can not play a season, Why is that? Even though the graphics are EA material the outcome of the gaem is not. I expect to get the same format to each season title. They have the technology to do it, then Use it. So I did not like this title at all and I would now have to think about buying another soccer game in the future, but I'm afraid this is the "best" soccer game out there.

Summary: Disappointing but Fun
Review: Okay, I love to play computer soccer games and couldn't wait to get this game. It was a little disappointing because I wanted to do a season with an MLS team but I found out you couldn't. The graphics are pretty good and the controls are easy if you use a gamepad but it's strange that the only personal stats the game keeps track of are the goals and cards a person gets. Where are the assist? Saves? Are goals the only important stat in soccer? I don't think so. But overall the game was fun and I really can't stop playing it.

Summary: Realistic
Review: The game is extremely realistic, the graphics are great. In comparison to other games it is easily accessible; So there has been a lot of improvement in the loading of the game. However in the IGM feature it would be really great to be able to position one player according to where you want him to be. Another thing, since the game is endorsed by the FIFA, may be it would be appropriate to have in future versions some sub-saharian african leagues for countries like Cameroon or Nigeria so that everyone would feel well represented. Overall it's a great game and i'm looking forward to FIFA 2002.
