Rating: Summary: THIS GAME ROCKS! Review: This is by far the best of the NBA Live series and definetly in the top 4 EA Sports games. The graphics are awesome and the face detail on the players is incredible! The dunks are cool, too. You can even make your own custom team! The Franchise mode lets you have a dynasty covering up to 25 years! If you love basketball, computer games, EA Sports, and great graphics, GET THIS GAME!
Rating: Summary: NBA Live 2000 Rules Review: Well, EA Sports has done it again with a great basketball game in NBA live 2000. It has great gameplay, graphics, and user control. There are many new options from 99, and there is a great online connection. I bought this game about a month ago, and i still playit everyday. This is amust have for all EA Sports Gamers
Rating: Summary: An ok upgrade from 99, but please make the game ALOT better! Review: Well, every year you know EA Sports are going to have a newerversion of their sports titles and every year I have to go out andplunk down $$ for the newer title. This year is no different as now I own NBA Live 97,98,99 and 2000. For NBA Live 2000, I think it is a good basketball game, but if you are on a budget then get either Microsoft or Fox. This game has SOME features that makes it worthwhile to get...such as 1 on 1, 70's to 90's players like Dr. J and Jordan, tighter defense and no wild unbelieveable stuff like in 99 such as point guards blocking centers, little guys flying dunking like Vince Carter. However, the graphics still look the same, they look good, but not ground-breaking as before. The game for me is still TOO easy, even on the highest level, playing with the Clippers I can still beat most of the good teams. Anyways if you want to spend $$ only to have to spend (more) on next year's title then get this basketball game. My only gripe is that EA should just make a basketball game that includes EVERYTHING (like in 2000 they now have referees, why couldn't they do that for 99?) and have yearly upgrades...
Rating: Summary: Quickly Great, Later Dull Review: When trying to pick out which to buy, NBA Live 2000 or Fox Sports NBA Basketball 200, I decided it would be best to try them both out. My friend, Lance, has NBA Live 2000 on his Pentium 3 500. The game has amazing graphics, good gameplay, and GREAT GM features, mut not a good long time love. You will be addicted to this game for the first month or so that you own it, but you will be amazingly boared of it after that. So, what about Fox Sports NBA Basketball 2000? My friend Jason has a Pentium 1 233 and this game STILL had some of the best graphics I have ever seen in a basketball game. The gameplay is the best for any non-Madden sports game of all time. The computer AI is amazing. The GM factor is not that great, though. This is the type of game that you will want to play a season in. You will be playing this untill Fox Sports NBA Basketball 2001 comes out. So, to sum it all up, if you want the best gameplay and realism, get Fox Sports NBA Basketball 2000. If you want GM features, get NBA Live 2000. If you want a long time great game, get Fox Sports Basketball 2000. If you want a one month amazing game, get NBA Live 2000.
