Rating: Summary: PLAY COCAH MODE Review: The thing I like in Madden 2002 is that there is a cocah mode. Its where you pick a team and you just have to pick the play and they would do it for you. To make it real you shuold make the view tv view while you are whatching it. Other than that, there are 32 teams, franchise, season, Nfl draft, fantsy draft, pro bowl and the statiums and the fans are real. It is worth the Money!
Rating: Summary: Can be fun, But TOTALLY UNREALISTIC Review: This game can be fun and addictive, however it can be frustrating. The computer will always end up winning any game you play. I have started several different Franchises, but have only won 1 game! One example: I was ahead by 1 point with about 50 seconds left, and 6 of my men missed a 80 yard for touchdown RB screen pass. The CPU will NEVER run a balanced offense, if they are ahead by 21 points with 20 minutes left, they will still throw on every down! Expect about 400+ yards passing every game for the CPU. MOST frustrating...9 drops in 1 quarter??? 50% of the time a reciever will drop the ball when he gets hit. The graphics are AMAZING, but a SOMEWHAT REALISTIC game is more important to me. Hopefully Madden 2003 will have a better CPU offense and better human controlled defense.
Rating: Summary: Great Game, but Passing Defense is a Joke Review: This game has great graphics and it's a lot of fun to play. If you have an upper-end PC, you will be able to enjoy all the beautifully done graphic and sound details of the game, but you can change graphic settings to better meet your PC. Unless you are comfortable playing action games with a keyboard, you'll need a 8 to 10 button gamepad to control your players and play calling. Madden NFL 2002 supports Microsoft and Gravis Gamepad Pro. The one major flaw in Madden NFL 2002 is in its passing defense AI. Even after I edited all my defensive players to the point that I exceeded my team salary cap by some 12 million dollars, I still managed to give up over 500 yards passing to Anthony Wright and the Dallas Cowboys, EA really needs to put out a patch for this.I installed this game on my Dell PIII 800 Windows ME box and experienced no technical problems. Users who have had problems playing Madden NFL 2002 in WinME boxes can check with EA Tech Support to see if the hardware (i.e. video card) or software (i.e. an antivirus package) in their PCs are causing some conflicts or problems with the game.
Rating: Summary: It's ok Review: This game has wonderful graphics. The franchise mode is also very good. I like the way players can get better or worse in their ratings at the end of the season. But, their are some aspects of the game that do need help. The game can get boring only after playing about 2 or 3 games. The annoucers are lame, and don't even know what ther are talking about. Also, the gamplay is slow. Madden is very realistic but needs to add some arcade style in it. That is about the only problem. It is fun to go chat with other people in the online lobby and play them. But, while playing another person online the game goes very slow with many bumps and does not work well. Plaus, the update option allows your rosters to be up to date and that can help you. You will not want to buy the new version just because of the old rosters. I rate this game a 2 1/2.
Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT Review: This game is all you would want in Football Game. I've read other reviews that complain about how horrible the game play is. Well, to tell you the truth the game play is not bad at all, with the exceptions of the conerbacks AI, which is a annoying flaw sometimes. But usually everything runs really smoothly and you really feel like you are playing a real football game. And as for the graphics, if they were any better the players would have to be real, live pictures of players moving across the screen. Everyone is very realistic, it is probabally the best graphics I have ever seen in a computer game. All and all it is the best football game on the market and well worth the buy.
Rating: Summary: Perfect Except.... Review: This game is amazing. The graphics are great along with the uni's, field wear, sidelines, stadiums etc. The only downside is the AI. too easy to score. If EA can fix this in a upcoming patch, this game is perfect.

Rating: Summary: The BEST Madden Yet! Review: This game is lots of fun. Madden and Summeral get kinda annoying after about 2 quarters because they just repeat the same kinda stuff. I mean... I was on 1st and 10 and Madden said it was 4th and inches. I was like cmon what kinda [junk] is that. The create-a-team is cool. They could really use more logos and different helmet styles. They could also add in the sleeves options like on playstation. The graphics are priceless. The hits make you feel like ur there. Overall i gotta give this game a 4. If you wanna buy... GET IT!!!!
Rating: Summary: GREAT AND OK Review: This game is pretty fun! I mean it isn't very realistic, but it's very fun. I like the create a team mode. I created tons of teams like the Saiyans, Meatballs, Gods, etc. I can control every attribute of the player and lots more for each team. The scores are crazy though. I beat the Raven 250 to 0! And the Vikings 238 to 14! Using the Saiyans, my best team. Better than every other! Here are their ratings: Overall: 99, Offense: 99, Defense: 99, and Special Teams: 99! A lot better than the real teams. This game is a lot of fun!
