Rating: Summary: Where'd Oregon go? Review: Living in Oregon all my life, I was always lead to believe that Oregon was part of the Pacific Northwest. Unfortunatley the makers of this scenery thought otherwise. Only the very top part of Oregon, perhaps no more than the top 1/5 is included in this scenery. Other than this huge complaint (and the reason I bought this product being an Oregonian), this product is very good. The scenery is extremely thick and well done, complex and photorealistic. The product itself is well made and presented with maps and a booklet included as well. One final complaint is more functional to someone who knows scenery editing and manipulating inside Flight Simulator. The scenery's exclusion areas go way past the borders of the scenery. So when you come to the end of it, you run into void... just flat featureless green terrain for about 20nm until you hit the default scenery or other scenery on the other side of the 'band.' Of course, this 20 mile void is right down the center of my Oregon... and the town I grew up in, if in the scenery, would be located smack dab in the middle of this featureless void! Well, I don't find that suprising, it was sort of a void. If you live in Washington or British Columbia, you'll love this product. That's where all the mega intense scenery is. Buy and enjoy!
