Summary: Great Improvement over 2000
Review: This, the newest version of the SimCity Dynasty, is a great improvement over the low grapics-low AI of SimCity 2000. I have almost all the Sims, like SimTower & SimIsle, and SimCity is the best! I think i'll change careers to become a mayor!

Summary: Lots more features than Simcity 2000
Review: In this game, you not only build roads and zone commercial, residential and industrial, but you can make deals with your neighboring cities, like selling extra power to them or you pay them to take your city's trash to their landfill. Also, the Sims actually talk to you and ask for certain ordainces so you arent left in the dark! And all that is just in the demo...i havent played the actual game yet. Great game!

Summary: Big Improvement
Review: I own not only SimCity 3000, but SimCity Classic, and SimCity 2000 (Along with a host of other Sim games). SimCity 3000 is an amazing step in technology over 2000. They best part is the vast variety of building capable of being downloaded from the Maxis site. A Great Game!!

Summary: Worthwhile upgrade to SimCity 2000
Review: One of the cool features to SimCity 3000 is that you can import all your previously built cities from SC2000. My 13 year-old daughter spends a lot of time building (and then tearing down) cities. It's a nice alternative to blowing up monsters.

The only problem with running it was that I had to turn off 3D acceleration on my system (RIVA TNT) to cure a "flickering" problem. If anyone knows of another workaround, let me know!

Summary: This game is great!!
Review: This is the best Sim City, yet. This game has the best graphics, and you have to do everything.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Overall - a good way to pass time.
Review: I thought SimCity3000 was fun and challenging, but building a city entitles one to make such decisions on where buildings go and what they look like, which this games lacks. I'd love to see a version where you're in complete control. For instance, I wanted my city to have several commercial zones with high-rises and regional malls all tied into one central core city. I also would've liked to be able to position the airport runways, add a cruise port, view the city from different angles (including ground level) and several other customizable features. Yes, this may seem picky and demanding but hey, I'm buying the game as a consumer - give me what I want!

Summary: An exceptional strategy game and a solid lesson in civics.
Review: I enjoyed Sim City, Sim City 2000, and Sim City 3000 too. Sim City 3000 isn't as much an improvement over SC2K as SC2K was over the original version but this game is worth the time. It takes some tending to get your city to develop and I felt there was some water issues that could have been better addressed but overall, it is an immensely enjoyable experience to build a thriving metropolis. The only deficiency was that there are times when it would be nice to approach your neighboring cities about a deal for water, power, trash. I highly reccommend this game.
