Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Most advanced MMOG out there
Review: Here is a game that offers a little bit for everyone:

It has Territorial Combat rooms, where the player can pick one of 5 countries to fight for. With others (averaging 250 pilots on any given evening), you can choose to bomb, drop troops, provide fighter cover, or hit tanks.

On the other side, there are simple dogfigting arenas, where you can fly as a team or even in a Free for All arena. The physics are relaxed a bit(unlimited fuel and ammo, no black or redouts) for easy enjoyable gameplay.

On the highest side, the people out for full realism can enjoy all the physics thrown right at them, and fight other planes without seeing their tags first.

This game truly is the cutting edge of MMOG flight sims. Sure, you can go play Battlefield1942 over at laggy gamespy with 32 or less players, but if you want to FLY there, its just silly. Combat Flight Sim and IL2 both are good games, but do not hold a candle to the online immersion of FA3.5.

The community is tight knit, as others have said. Unlike virtually any other game, troublemakers are quickly run off by the everpresent sysops, who really do a great job of keeping gameplay enoyable for all. Lets face it, anyone with any experience in online gaming has faced the "jerk", who is only there to cause trouble and disrupt a good time. FA polices itself well. The few bad ratings this game has got in customer service are from those people, angry I am sure, that for once they were not allowed to disrupt things.

The developers actively fly and converse with players in the newsgroups, something rarely seen in a videogame. The sysops run events week long. From Pin Point Parachuting, Canyon Races, Kings of The Sky (KOTS) Squad Matches, to full blown historical recreations with 1000's of pilots participating, the events are a blast.

Your fellow pilots will quickly become your friends and confidants. After a while, you will want to join a squadron so you can work even better as a team to bring your country to victory in Terrritorial Combat, or hold the KOTS room as champion of up to 5 equal squad matches.

This game truly has it all and I know any online gamer would have a blast in it, given the chance.

Summary: No luck is bad luck
Review: I had no luck getting Fighter Ace 3.5 to work on my PCs. I installed it on Windows 2000 and XP. When I try to fly, the plane stays in a left turn. You have to keep correcting the plane by countering with right turns. I contacted the support group and tried every fix they suggested. However, the problem has not been resolved. I would strongly suggest another game choice.

Summary: Not Ready For Primetime
Review: I have been involved with Fighter Ace since its beginning years ago. I can say with all honesty that this is the buggiest version ever made. You are buying a beta game with substandard servers and support. Think twice before you get roped into this. Not ready for primetime!

Summary: FA3.5 Rocks
Review: I have been playing Fighter Ace for over two years and the game can not be beat. For WWII air combat simulation this one is tops! You can do so many differant things you will never get bored of this game. You can just plain dogfight, there are a number of rooms with varying realism to fit any skill level and preference. There are also War rooms( called Territorial Conquest) where your actions as a pilot control what happens on the ground. You can fly Bombers, fighters, Attack missions or all of the above during a flying sesson.
The community is second to none. All you have to do is ask and most pilots will line up to help you. I've accually seen one pilot help another fix his car! For parents, the rooms are monitored and any pilots using foul language or being abusive will be removed from the game, so you can let your younger ones play with out having to worry about them.

Summary: FA 3.5 is Great bang for the Buck
Review: I have played all flight sims that are online. IL-2 Storm, Msn Flight Sim ect and FA 3.5 is the best online game with the MOST players you can find in one room flying at the same time. 160 people flying, dogfighting , bombing, with a great set of fighters for 5 countrys of WW2 fighters. I was there when Aol was running its flight sim. Yes there are a few games out there with better graphics but they dont tuch the game play that FA 3.5 has. If you want to try it out for just 19.95 usa for 3 months you will be able to see what im talking about. Most games that dont even come close cost 19$ per month.

Review: I have played this game since version 1.5 and it is by far the best WW2 flight game on the market. 3.5, with it's massive multiplayer technology, makes flying with 200 real people at a time a thrill that can't be duplicated. Fighters, bombers, cargo planes, it has it all. But the best part of Fighter Ace is the community. It's the best [$$] a month I've ever spent.

Summary: Server Stability was fixed as promised.
Review: I just read some of the reviews. I dont know how these guys arrived at a customer service being poor aspect. All you have to do is ask anyone in the game. They have help rooms open 24/7. The community dives in to help anyone having trouble anytime I've been in an arena.

I do notice often some people have no patience with new things and blame others for the fact. Your not going to buy this game and be the best overnight. Doesnt happen in any game with actual depth. There are so many planes with definitive characteristics to master it can be overwhelming. Recognizing a bogie aircraft and combat manuevers take alot of practice as well as gunnery. Ballistics are modeled realistically as possible in weapon rate of fire, mass, muzzle velocity and trajectory. I wouldn't recommend trying to dogfight an interceptor with a torpedoe bomber unless you've been playing awhile. =)

Summary: I love FA
Review: I started flying in 1.5, the latter part of it, and FA ROCKS! Tried other flight games, but FA has something the others don't, and that's the people that fly and work there, great bunch of guys/gals.

We have a great flying community, that is willing to help in any way they can. You got a tech problem, we have lots of knowledgeable people there to help you,and if you can't find anyone in the help room, then go to the NG and post it.
NewsGroup is a great place to get help, your never alone!!

Lots of dogfights,territorial taking,bombs,rockets,soldiers, planes,maps,beginners room,advance flying etc,,,something for everyone!

GREAT PILOTS, SQUADS AND FUN, come join us at Fighter Ace and see for yourself!! Never a DULL moment, I assure you.

Summary: Best 9.95 a month you'll ever spend for a subscription.
Review: I've played Jaleco/VR-1 WW2 simulators ever since version 1.0 came out in 1997.

I must say that the communities that have sprung up around the various versions of this game, can be rivalled by no other game people can play online.

Where else can you play with the same online freinds, every day for 5 years solid? Playing FA is more like playing with extended family, than against unknown online opponents.

Also, when playing FA, you know that becuase your on a subscription, that your aren't going to get some troublemaker come in and spoil the game for you, just because he can. These types of people get bounced out of the community rather quickly.

The modes of play are unlimited. You can fly bombers, fighters, fighter-bombers. You can attack ships, tanks, other planes, you can take part in real historical scenarios organised by Jaleco and the players, you can team up with friends to organize a combined force of bombers to pound your opponents, you can join one of the many squads in FA and sample the delights of being part of an even better team enviroment.

The graphics are awesome, better than any other free to download game I've ever played, period. And the subscription is cheaper than any of the competition. (take note AH/WB/WW2Online Subscribers).

There simply isn't the depth, and variety available in FA, in any other online capable game ever made. Nothing comes close to FA.
