Summary: Complete Naval Warfare
Review: I own all the games in this collection and they are all outstanding.

First you have F/A-18.

In F/A-18 it is 2005 and Russia's economy has just collapsed. Loyal Russian Communists have taken over the Murmansk area and are trying to take over the whole country. You are an American F/A-18 pilot, you fly your F/A-18 from the American Carrier C.V.N.-76 Ronald Regan. You have a vast array of weapons at your disposal from Mk-84 Iron bombs, to AGM-84H SLAM cruise missiles to the lastest AIM-9 sidewinder Heat Seeking missile. The graphics are outstanding and the avionics (the radar and all that stuff inside the plane) are modeled to the littlest detail. Determine the fate of Russia - Democracy or Communism!!!

The next title in this package is Fleet Command,

In Fleet Command you play sort of an "admiral." You have an overview of the battlefield and you have various ships, aircraft, and submarines at your disposal. It's a very fun strategy game that models modern naval combat. I suggest you download the excellent WDP mod from at [web site].

The last title is 688(I)

I just recently picked up this title and I have to say it's outstanding. 688(I) models the Los Angeles class attack submarine. You have to command your submarine off hot spots in the world and you have to accomplish certain tasks like intercepting a ship or inserting special forces onto a beach. You get to do sonar tracking. This summer EA is going to release a follow up sim to 688(I) which will include the Los Angeles, Seawolf, and Akula class submarines. For more information about that goto [web site].

Overall this is a great package and I would recommend this to anyone interested in simulation and strategy or the Navy.

For $40.00 you get 3 games this is a steal!!!

Summary: Almost too realistic
Review: One of the main things soldiers do in the army is drill. My stepfather tells me stories of how, when he was in Germany, all he did was drive around a colonel and play cards.

Enter 688(i) Hunter/Killer, where most of your time is filled by plotting courses, reading manuals, and attempting to pass undetected in open waters. While this is very realistic, it isn't the most exciting game in the world.

Fortunately, 688(i) comes with a "create your own scenario" mode, where you can populate the ocean with cruise ships, fishing boats, and other attack subs to fill with torpedos.

This is an enjoyable game for those who have the time and patience to learn the game.

Summary: It Rocks!
Review: This game is an excellent simulation of what the Navy really is like. I myself really enjoyed it and I'm still up for trying the F-18 section of it.

Review: This game is ok if your good with keyboard controls. I on one hand had a lot of trouble with F/A 18 688 (i) both those games are flight and submarine sims and there cool but not great. Fleet Command is the third game in the collection and it is fantastic.

In fleet command I really enjoyed controling Navy forces. I really think if you enjoy Simulators you'll love this collection of games.

Review: This is the Best Naval Combat Simulation I have ever had in my life to date. The graphics are awesome. The sound effects are so real, and the way you can maneuver above and below, or completely around the ships and aircraft completely blows you away. I think anybody who likes warfare should put this in their library today. Now! Don't hesitate. Buy one.
