Summary: Amazingly addictive, but NOT compatible with Windows NT
Review: WARNING: Amazon states that this game is compatible with Windows NT. While it does run to some degree under NT, pressing the right mouse button will instantly crash the game, making certain things in the game (like removing trees and other things) impossible. That said, this is one of the best games I've played in years. Unlike a lot of other games like it (including Sim ThemePark), it leaves you some breathing room once you've set up your park to sit back and watch your creation.

Summary: Best Stradegy Game Ever Made!
Review: This game let's you do all kinds of stuff, from placing light posts to designing the ultamite scream machine. Choose from colors to types of cars. Build accross water and even into other roller coasters in case they get in your way. Watch people pay to get in the park, see them walk into a line and watch them hop into the first seat of the brand new coaster you just opened. Watch them scream as they travel down the first drop and see what they thought of the ride when they get of. Set advirtisments to boost popularity for a new ride. And hire staff to make sure nothing "bad" happenes! Choose from wooden to Steel Verticle Coasters to Ferris wheels for young visitors. Set prices for pizza to coasters to admmision to on-ride-photos. This game combines thought to design problems like too much intensity to tring to fit a coaster in a small space. This is definetly one of the best games ever made. Thanks to Chris Sawyer!

Summary: Coolest Game Of The Century
Review: RCT is a simulation theme park. Build anywhere from landscapes to MONSTER wooden roller coasters. Choose from paths, landscaping, transport rides, gentle rides, thrill rides, water rides, rollercoasters, and shops. Build your own theme park while keeping it clean and safe, but draining every cent out of your guests.

Summary: Crashes, not compatible witth Windows NT
Review: The game crashed after two minutes of use when clicking the right mouse button. Technical support says that the game is not compatible with many mouse drivers and is not compatible with Windows NT. They also say there are no plans to fix the crashing mouse problem.

The installation program gives no clue that Windows NT is not a supported operating system.

The game appears to be clunkily designed. The build feature require going through multiple windows without keyboard support. Mouse clicking small window buttons could lead to eye strain and hand strain sooner that keyboard enabled windows.

Summary: Most Addicting Game
Review: This is one of those games, you say you're only going to play for 15 minutes, and the next time you look at the clock, 2 hours have gone by. This game is great, you actually get to build your own theme park, name the rides, the park, decide how much money you want to charge, what rides you want to have, how much staff you want to hire, paint the rides, run an advertising promotion for the park, just about everything. The thing that makes this game addicting is you may build a park, it does well, but then you think "But if I just put this roller coaster here, or added this it could be even better" So then you go back and play again. This game could never get boring. I have friends who love games like "Doom" and more thriller type games, and Still love this one. I'd really recommend adding this to any computer game selection.

Summary: The Best Game!
Review: This game is perfect for the kid in the house or just the kid in you. The 3-d graphics will blow you away! Once you start building the "ultra" roller coaster a new one comes and the new "ultra" roller coaster will blow the other's out of the water. the game just gets harder and more fun. Can you operate an entire park? Well you 'otta try. This is a must play game! Hey don't take it from me.

Summary: The best sim game ever has finally come to PC!
Review: This addicting game is a best seller and for a good reason. This fun (and sometimes funny) game requires a lot of free time, a strategic brain, and a good imagination.

RCT has a very user-friendly interface. It is easy to roam around your park, create and maintain rides, hire staff (janitors, mechanics, security guards, and entertainers), keep the park clean, and much more. Even if you're new to this game, a quick overlook at the game's features will get you going. But even a quick look won't satisfy you with this very addicting game. I can guarantee that you'll want to play this all day and night.

Creating your own ride is very fun. Make all the drops, vertical loops, etc. you want. But be careful to keep within the budget range! Sounds hard? It gets harder as it unlocks more parks as you complete scenarios. But no matter how hard or frustrating it is, it will get more fun as you research more rides and attractions as time passes.

So if you're trying to beat the park objective, keep within budget range, create the best roller coaster, keep your guests happy, or just play for fun, you'll agree from the minute you get into the game that the best sim game ever has finally come to PC!

The expansion pack is a great addition to a great game. Be sure to include the Corkscrew Follies addition with your order.

Summary: This is a great game
Review: Don't be fooled by the design, this is an excellent game. There are plenty of rides to build, coasters, merry go rounds, observer towers, 3d cinemas, motion simulators, e.t.c. Park managment is easy, with graphs and plenty statistics to manage your cash flow or park value. The only problem with Roller Coaster Tycoon is the time it takes to pass a year is around 90 minutes. Some of the scenarios require you to do it in 4 years, so expect to be playing for a long while. Though i must say time seems to pass fast because it is not boring. And they just released the expansion to this giving you more rides and scenarios, its really great.

Summary: Great America on your PC!
Review: Okay...here's the deal folks. I haven't traveled hardly until I met my current girlfriend. Then, she told me that her and her family go on vacation at least twice a year...well, this year it was Las Vegas, Reno, and Great America in California. Well, when we got to Great America...I swear it was an exact image of a theme inside Roller Coaster Tycoon! I saw rides that I had never seen before that I saw in the game. I was hooked on the game before I went to Great America...and now I'm even more hooked to find that there are rides that I saw...it's like being there all over again...so instead of talking my girlfriend to death about remembering our trip to Great America in California...I just load the Roller Coaster Tycoon CD into the CD Rom drive...and off I go!
