Review: Roller Coster Tycoon is the best game for the computer. You can build your own park, and even build your own roller coster! Even if you're not a roller coster fan, you will LOVE this game. You will not regret buying it!

Review: This game is soooo cool! I've designed a few and they are a huge hit. The game is so detailed. It seems so realistic. The game provides people vomiting after rides, people chopping up benches, you can click on a person to see what their thoughts are about your park, you can pick a scenic location where you want your park to be built, you also can hire janitors and have them clean a spot, hire a handyman to fix a broken ride, new rides become avalible to you as your park becomes popular, you can charge the amount of money you want your customers to pay, right down to the restrooms! There's sooo much more! A definite buy! Every penny is worth it!

Review: What can I say? This game provides all of the hands on tools a person would need to become their own Theme Park designer and operator. Very nice graphics, thrilling roller coaster designs, and a great interface. All around well designed controls. Heck, my wife likes this game even more than I do. A must buy!

Summary: RollerCoaster Tycoon beats the pants off SimThemePark!
Review: If I had only known now, what I had then, I wouldn't have wasted my money on SimThemePark. STP is now collecting dust on my office shelves after having it only 2 months, while RCT is gonna be worn out too soon! (I'll burn a copy to be safe :P) RCT is MUCH better all around. It's SO realisitic, like a real theme park. As a theme park lover, this game is right up my ally. The graphics and sound effects are stunning. And I LOVE how you can make your own coaster or use a pre-set design. Great game! :)

Review: This game is so much fun. There is so much to do in the park that I haven't even gotten out of tutorial mode yet! It's fun trying to build your own rollercoasters and watch the other rides go. The detail in the game is outstanding. If you like going to amusement parks, then you'll love this game.

Review: This game is pretty cool but not nearly as addicting or as well done as the Sim line of games. The inability to perform certain function (speed up time, search for rides in your park by name, etc) makes managing frustrating. If you've played The Sims or SimCity, this is probably a step down.

Summary: This is a GREAT game!
Review: I have never written an online review before, but this game is so good, I have to say something. I have written computer games and programs (as a serious hobby) for about 15 years. The design of this game is unbelievable - nicely detailed graphics, incredible sound effects of coasters and carnival music and people laughing and screaming on the coasters, and very addictive gameplay - it is so much fun, and so many hours fly by while you are totally immersed in it. I disagree with the guy who says the interface isn't so great - it's just fine and once you get the hang of building your own roller coasters (which you don't have to do until you're up to it), it is really amazing what you can do. If you're thinking about getting this game, I hope you do ...

Summary: Roller Coaster Tycoon is the Best Theme Park Simulation Game
Review: This game beats all other theme park simulations. It is a little bit difficult to play at first, but once you know how, it is extremely fun. After a long period of time, it finally becomes boring, but if you go without playing for a while, then come back and play again, it is fun for a while. The scenarios are mostly easy, but they are boring. The first few ones are fun, but they soon focus more on being challenging(which they don't suceed on), than making it fun. The only things I dislike about the game in general is you cannot build arcades and such. Overall, this is a fun and easy game, with many rides and roller coaster styles.

Summary: Fun,but gives one the feeling of being under preasure
Review: this game is fun, no question about that. But on all scenarios that you play there are goals like must have 1,400 guests at the end of year three and stuff like that which makes one feel "oh no, i only have a month left to attract a 1000 more guests! i can never do that. I might as well just give up" I think that kind of defeats the whole purpose of HAVING FUN. But, the alternative is to ignore the objectives and deal with failing the goal. Of courese, if you do that, you'll be playing the same 3 levels over and over again! But overall, it a cool game.
