Review: This is one of the best computer games I have ever played. Roller Coaster Tycoon is very fun and defies the word addictive. This game is tough to put down. The expansion adds a lot to it. You can do anything possible with your park including hiring animals or to start a marketing campaign. No one disagrees with me that this is a great game.

Review: It's easy to play-you can build in an already-made park or build on empty land. Be sure to test-drive your rides, because I've built some that have accidentally killed people. Realistic playing and other features-you can even loop rides together to scare the... out of the park visitors.

Summary: The word Addictive is an *understatement*...
Review: I was reading some other reveiws and I noticed --pete from texas-- wrote "If you enjoyed games such as SimCity, Age of Empires and Civilization I would recommend this game because it follows a similiar strategy and planning mechanism"...and I agree, he's right! This game is *entirely* about strategy. I also notice a few people here and there giving the game bad reveiws...it's because the game is challenging, it *truly* is. When I *first* played it, ugh, it too irritated me at times...but once you find *your* strategy and whats best for you , the game is well worth the investment. I haven't yet purchased any of the expansion packs yet, but I most certainly will, but as of right now, I'm still attempting to beat the scenarios given. This game *does* take time to learn, what's what, what makes who happy, and how. But it's *Great* fun. and as I said...the word Addictive is an understatement. :) A few tips: **right click the trees to remove them ; ) **have lots of "handymen" **start your park addmission off super *cheap* like a dollar. and your guests will comment on how you should raise your prices, then ya just raise them a little at a time :)meanwhile--still charge for rides and such. Summary: 13 year old gamer
Review: Currently I do not own this fantastic product (unfortunately), but the game is awesome. It has mind-blowing graphics, amazing roller coasters, beautiful and exotic theme parks, and an incredible concept. I played the game at one of my friend's house a few days ago, and although it was his game and he was very excited to finally get it, he allowed me to play a "short" game first. I was completely hooked on it! I couldn't stop playing. I was staring at the screen so long that I got a headache (although this point might seem the lower the effect of my review, all I am trying to point out is that I was playing so long, not that the game requires a deep stare to see the game). Today I downloaded the demo version of it ..., but it only allows one to play for about fifteen minutes or less. Since one cannot save and load games in the demo version, there is no way to get around this rule! I will definitely very soon get the full version because this game is irresistable. I LOVE THIS GAME!! I hope this review was helpful to all of you are are deciding whether or not to buy this product. In case you didn't get the idea earlier, "THIS GAME IS A MUST HAVE!!!"

Summary: Roller Coaster Tycoon- one of the funest games on earth
Review: This is one of my all time favorite games. It is fun, easy, and funny. It is really cool to think that you built a amusement park with really cool rides, food, and theming items.

Summary: Fun, but gets boring after a while
Review: When you first purchase it, this game is really fun. My friend had it and I loved it so much, I bought it with my own money. I shouldn't have, becuase there was another game I wanted, and now I'm sick of this one. Being twelve years old, my attention span is very short. This game would be more fun if you didn't have to beat the first (most boring) levels to move on to more exciting levels. Another thing that bugs me is that- It seems so long to get through one year. It takes forever to accomplish your "Object of the Game" thingy. Though this game is really fun the first few times you play it, It gets really boring just staring at the little men with brown hair and clothes in really messed up color combonations. Overall, this game could use a little more fun. I think that one thing would make this game better. The ability to ride your rollercoasters and go to other attractions. But, for now, this game is just boring.

Review: Great game but it gets so Frusterating when all your guest get so mad. I have this game, and at first i liked it but it is a mission impossible to win or inprove your park. If you ever make a cool ride all your guest's hate it and start to get mad and then leave.

Review: This game is ok, and once i started playing I couldn't stop for 3 weeks. After that it got a bit boring, and i stopped playing with it as much. There were no surprises any more! The people can't do anything for themselves, and they get annoying, but this game is pretty fun!

Summary: Addictive game that lasts
Review: Some games (such as The Sims) are addictive at first but quickly lose their appeal. Rollercoaster Tycoon is a game that keeps you interested because you continually discover new strategies. Furthermore, if you enjoy role-playing a computer game, Rollercoaster Tycoon allows you to "theme" your parks by changing the colors, names, scenery, etc.. If you enjoyed games such as SimCity, Age of Empires and Civilization I would recommend this game because it follows a similiar strategy and planning mechanism. The add-on packs (Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes) add some interesting components but are not recommended unless you enjoyed this game immensely. For your best bet, since the game has been out for awhile, I would wait a few months when the game will be sold with the expansion packs added on to it. The internet site allows you to download various rollercoaster designs and there are fan websites set up that also allow you to download their designs. So far, with the patches, I have not encountered any game crashes... A game that remains entertaining longer than most and powerfully addictive the first month you purchase it. ;)

Review: I've been playing Rollercoaster Tycoon ever since December 1999! Now it's March 2001! That goes to show that Rollercoaster Tycoon has an unlimited supply of fun at your fingertips. Unlike other Theme Park games, you can customize almost any ride you can dream of! Excellent game! Buy the expansion pack also!
