Review: Rollercoaster Tycoon is a really cool game because it lets you build your own rollercoaster and lets you build other rides like go carts,waterslides,and monirails. It also lets you make the prices for all the rides and the park. It also has really cool sounds. Buy this CD it's the best!!!

Review: Many of you are probably curious like I was,(1) is this game really that good? (2) Will I like the simulation gameplay since I am used to action/adventure games?(3) I heard it's like Bullfrog's Theme Park, and I hated that game. (4)etc, etc, etc.Well, let this make it clear to you. Even 2-3 years after it came out, it's still the most addictive game ever made. And it's worth the ...dollars(Don't forget the Loopy Landscapes Pack, an extra 30 dollars). Sure it's not 3D, but the reason it's not 3D is cause everybody would need a Pentium 9 Processor(which should be out by 2035)to look at all the gorgeous colors and amazing details in 3D. Many are saying, I dont like these slow simulation games. Well, neither did I. But I am sure everyone of you want to own and design your own park when you go to a real theme park like Disneyland. And you say to yourself: Just imagine how nice this place would be if I owned it and designed all the thrilling rides. Well, this game gives everybody the chance. It takes Simulation games and makes them fun. Infact, it adds action. For example, don't expect to just sit there after you make a 15,000 coaster and are waiting for the money to become available. You have to DRAG the handymen to clean the vomit. You have to create benches. You have to advance the themes by adding mere ... dollar statues. You have to make sure that the guests dont leave. Now many say making the rollercoaster is hard. Well, it won't be hard if people used common sense. And after a while, it won't be that challenging as you'll be making coasters, underground, going through one another, into the water, and etc,etc. You can personalize your park to whatever you like, but to get the ultimate "personalization equipment", please get the expansion pack, Loopy Landscapes. It also includes the first expansion pack, Corkscrew Follies. So it's a good deal. So please head over to the review for Loopy Landscapes and find out what kind of cool add-ons you get. If your in a budget limit and cant afford the expansion pack right now...Lemme just tell you that the personalization tools in RCT are pretty good. The expansion packs just add to it. You can paint the rides to what you want, rename guests, rename the rides, the name of the park, etc, etc. For the people who can afford the expansion packs, go to Loopy Landscape's review right now.

Review: This game rocks! I could play it for hours. You make your own sweet rollercoasters and water rides! I am addicted to this cccooooooolllll game!!! You can also go on the internet to get tips on how to make the rides more interesting and less intense. Also, you can do the ride exchange. Anyway, this game is the best game ever!!

Review: Well, This game was alright the scenarios were boring to do plus wait until ,EX: year 3. So i just forgot about them and went to a website to download the completed ones. It was alot faster... And another thing i hate about this game is when you build a cool looking rollercoaster they always call it "Ulrta-extreme". Ha, in order to make it not extreme is to make it a circle shaped rollercoaster. The people in the game are wimps if you ask me. Some of the things i liked about this game is the freedom of building a theme park without most of the hassles. But cleaning the paths and fixing the rides. This might sound bizzare but i liked the merry-go-round music. I also liked the sound of the game and also the graphics. I really enjoyed playing the game and it was fun playing. I suggest getting this game if you want a challenge. Good game.

Summary: Alright, but......
Review: Roller Tycoon is a game FILLED with adventures, and TONS of fun. When I first played it, I just came home from school, and no one was home. I played for hours and HOURS! I couldn't belive the time! I had flotted away on my own roller coaster! At first, I couldn't understand the point, but then I got into it. After some months, it kinda got boring. But my brother is still playing it. It kinda matters the type of person you are. But still its fun having people walk around your park. Buy it, and you'll won't have probllems being bored

Review: There are many Simcity type games out there, but this is FUN! You just can't stop smiling whether your park get award or your rollercoaster crushes. This is a new game experience. I wish if the game had a rider's view point, so I could actually ride the coasters I built.

Summary: So much Rollercoasters So little time...
Review: The scnarios take forever to complete. The first one, it took me a hour just to get to the end of year one. Otherwise the game was fun. But the think you get not a whole lot of money to start out with, What? 10,000 dollars? give me a break! The thing I like about it is the way you can make the rides crash but the way everything blows up? Give me a break! Boring to wait, fun to play with MONEY! The game should of had the options of making a real life park instead of some stalls where they buy stuffed animals they should replace it with a shop. Oh well cant change it anymore. And you cant really play it on a Pentium 90 because its tooooo slow. Its a good game but boring after a while then when you take it from your dusty shelf, you say "hey! I remember this game" and you pop it back in your CD-ROM and start playing again. Thats what I did. Again good game Chris Sawyer.

Summary: Innovative, creative, and spectacular
Review: An idea developed from Chris Sawyer's "Transport Tycoon", this game takes amusement park building to a whole new level from previous games like "Theme Park." The animation is nothing special, but if it was more detailed, the game would take a hit because it is necessary to have kind of an aerial view of parts of your park. That way, you can find out where there is vandalism, vomit, or lost guests. Also, it will be easier to you to build rides such as ROLLER COASTERS. You can either build premade roller coasters or build your own. It is difficult to get the hang of building your own roller coasters, though. There is a fair amount of gameplay variety, and you can build parks in a forest, in a desert, in a mine, even in a lake. Highly recommended. If you buy this, get the expansion pack "Loopy Landscapes" at the same time, or if you are not sure, get this first.
