Summary: Pretty cool game!!!
Review: This game Rollercoater Tycoon is very addictive. My brothers and I played this game for about 8 hours. We got pretty far. It is very boring right when you begin a new level; all the levels I think are just green and blue. It is very hard to beat a level. Snow Resort Tycoon I think is much better.I would not get this game too addictive and would get one of the other Tycoon games.

Review: This is one of my favorite computer games ever. You get to build all the rides you want and create your own amusement park. The one thing that I find really annoying is that you have to keep raising and lowering the ground, but other than that this is a great game.

Review: Ok,this game is absolutely out of this world! An ideal gift for someone ready to be amazed! One day I was in a computer store and I saw SimCoaster and I told my mother that I wanted it (ok, I begged) now I don't know what happened in between then and Easter but on Easter morning I awoke to find RollerCoaster Tycoon in a basket. I loaded it that morning even before I had breakfast knowing that my whole family was coming that day.I couldn't turn it off! My cousins were coming and the doorbell was ringing but I kept playing.I played it for as long as I could. In 3 words,I LOVE IT. So, I told all my friends and the next thing I know 2 of them get it too.Then one of them told their friend about it and they got one! It's crazy cause they're always calling me for help!If you think that some item in the park is missing on this game, you just wait! New rides and attractions are developed as you go to higher levels. Ok, that didn't give much info on the game itself(read the other reviews for that) but it does tell how addicting it is and how good it is(and how much fun).I don't know how you can't live without it.

Review: the game had it's good points...unfortunatly it was contradicted by the downs. even though it in its self is fun the concept and places are too hard...mainly because of the darn trees that can't be built over but rather deleted which costs money.in term it ... totaly!!

Review: This game was so much fun!!!! I love building the rides and hiring employees. The best part is watching the people ride your rides and, if it had a high nausea rating, the people turning green! This game will keep you at your computer. It is the best computer game I have ever played!

Review: The attention to detail in this game is amazing. I have found this to be the best computer game I have purchased in years. Just simply looking at the graphics where the people feel sick or are eating is hilarious and cute. Ever since I started playing this game, I have found myself in amusement parks saying things such as "I can't find the park exit!"

Building parks and coasters is addicting. Sometimes it is easier to build parks using the pre-made coasters and rides than to build your own. Granted, some of the coasters are plain impossible to build so that a) they won't crash and b) people will actually ride them. I can see how parts of the game may be tedious and boring after a while to those with short attention spans, but in general this is a terrific game. It is great for children who need to learn about money management and other such skills.

The best parts of the game: The attention to detail, the many levels that you can play (beginner players would just simply build pre-made rides and try to complete the scenarios. Advanced players would build their own rides, etc), no violence (unless you count the fact that you can drown employees and customers).

The worst parts of the game: You have to buy the expansion pack to get the really creative scenarios - most of the scenarios in the original are basically the same with different terrian (the hardest being the one where you can't cut down trees!). Many parts of the game get old after a while - I played the game from start to finish and was a little tired of the same music, rides, and employees. This changes in the expansion pack as well, where you get a much wider variety of rides, etc.

Two final thoughts - 1. I would definitely buy Loopy Landscapes as a companion to this game. Play the original for a while until you start to get bored (if that happens) and then try the expansion for added value. 2. I would NOT run this on a Pentium 90!! I ran it on a Pentium II 233 and it still crunched a bit - I can't imagine it on a Pentium 90. Upgrading to a P-III 750 made it run beautifully.

Summary: Helpful Hints for the Best Game Ever Made
Review: You HAVE to get this game!!!!!!!!!!! It is the BOMB!!!!!!!! You can do a ton of stuff with this, and it rocks!!! You build a variety of stuff like a carousel(of course), a spiral slide, a haunted house, a ferris wheel, millions of different kinds of roller coasters, and so much more. You are allowed to raise and lower land, add footpaths, buy extra land, hire and fire different staff members(handymen, mechanics, security guards, and entertainers), and add scenery, gardens, trees, statues, fountains and more, and you can also add a theme to your amusement park.

A couple of helpful hints for the game: -if you have a really wild roller coaster, put benches and a bathroom by the ride exit, so your handymen will have less work to do from all the nauseous people in your park. -People do throw up quite often if there is a wild roller coaster in your park, so get a handyman(you also will need him to empty litter bins, water gardens if you have any, and mow the grass)!!! -GET A MECHANIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You will need one often to inspect rides and fix rides.

Review: this game, is suitable for any age! it's something to cure bordom or something to look forward to playing! and once you start, it's hard to stop with this game! you get drawn into building more fun and exciting rides and making all the money that you can, while meeting all the objectives! for insomniacs (like me for ex.) this is great! it will keep you busy all night long.... totally worth the money you pay for it!
