Review: I recently bought the game, and have been playing it for awhile now. Superstar is not all it appears to be. Socializing is abit harder now, and in order to make your way up the Superstar ladder, you have to try and try (and try and try) in order to become superstar. Even then your Charisma, Body and Creativity have to be at least 3 before you start out.The new objects are great and I like tt you can build a film studio, though only in Studio Town, which is not bad too. Overall the game is good, and I really cant wait to buy "Makin' Magic", the 'sequel' of sorts.

Summary: Unbelievably fun for a while...
Review: ...but then it's not that great. The novelty of the spa items, the new interactions, and seeing Marilyn Monroe and the like wandering around keeps it highly entertaining...for a bit. Then it becomes a chore. Getting your sims even slightly famous is pretty much impossible without using cheat objects, and boring with. Also, as some others have mentioned, the load is UNBELIEVABLY slow. Often I start it up and by the time it's ready to be played, I've completely forgotten about it and gone off to do something else. And I have a pretty decent computer. I can't imagine using this with an older processor. If you're anything like me, you'll buy this just because, but if you're seriously capable of not buying every expansion pack...skip this one.

Summary: Superstar is awesome
Review: This Expansion Pack to the sims, the sims deluxe, or the sims double deluxe is the best expansion pack ever. what you have to do is live your life( Like every other sims game in the world) exept in this expansion pack only, you can become a famous celebrity. you earn your way up from singing kareoke to acting in a big time soap opera. you can hire an agent and see who the ten hot celebrities are. Also there is a few new items, like the sky diving machine(Expensive but it helps with body and fun), and the aquarium(Expensive also, but is the best thing for fun). they also heve a new pool tabe and a new weight set. in this expansion you can still get a pet. you also can get married and have children too. I'de say this is the game of the year. Summary: Sims Superstar.... Easy or hard???
Review: Well the Sims Superstar is very good but it's VERY hard becoming the superstar. U see ur sims have to be promoted up some levels like the other sims but it takes about twice as long. My best sim is a Player (3rd or 4th from the star) and it wasnt easy. all the stars allready there are snoody and u get promoted by the # of star buddies u have. So U need to raise 2 stars at once, at diffrent properties. Its hard but once ur at the top Its all fun-n-games!!! there is still regular jobs (crime medical police ect.)Autuall its worth 4 1/2 stars. Relly nice game but maxis needs a exp where the sims can drive to work, and places with services(police, hospital)!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: I was so excited to play superstar when i bought it after my birthday. its very fun, but the only problem is it takes sooooo long to load! it may just be my comp but i have heard other people say its slow too. the instruction manual isnt extremely helpful. if you really need help i suggest asking other people who have the game because EA games wont help (i tried). but other than that its an awesome game!

Review: I am a huge sims fan, and this is one of the best expansion packs!! In this game, you get to make your sims become famous actors, models, or rock stars!!! It is quite hard though, with you having to make friends with famous people, and having to visit studio town constantly. You also have to gain skill points just like a job, but you can do it!! One of the best parts of Superstar was when you meet real life celebrites, like Christina, Avril, and Marilyn! Its cool because your sims go up and ask for their autographs, and they do this strange knee dance.
New things in this game include new items, like a flat screen tv, and there is a butler you can now hire! BUY THIS GAME!!!!!

Summary: Is the expansion pack really worth it?
Review: I've heard that question numerous times, without a good answer to go along though. Superstar is your average The Sims expansion pack, new objects, people, jobs, and an entire new town. This pack focuses on, well, basically making your Sims famous and 'living the life'. The two most common problems for me when I play Superstar is the fact that it loads painfully slow (I use Windows XP, but maybe it's just my other programs) and the game crashes to your desktop more than usual. I've tried to find a way to fix the crash thing because it's nerve-racking, but so far I haven't found a solution. Oh, and once your Sim is famous, and you're trying to make friends, it's very difficult at that stage. If you don't know how to get fame the easy way, the extremely difficult way is the Maxis way. It's not easy, but I can honestly say it's a new challenge.

Summary: Interesting pack - needs patch
Review: I purchased Superstar with trepidation. I'd read about the bugs. Example: the speaking bubbles are now empty. Word of warning, if you do not have a TON of memory (well over the 128MB recommendation) you will have a very slow game. I personally have 512 and a few trips to Studio Town makes my game run slooooooow. Too many and I crash.

Summary: It Looks Fun?!
Review: Ok I saw the commercial for this game and i had to have it so I went to get it....I got it home and the installment went great but when i went to play it it would barely run i mean it would freeze completely up and I couldnt even play, I ended up having to lose everything i once earned like 300,000 dollars! Ah. So after I had uninstalled it I returned it got a new one and HA! The same thing happened.... I hate the game only because I can't play it and I want to really bad!... But hey maybe it's just my bad luck...
