Rating: Summary: Great Entertainment and good fun Review: I have been a Sims fan ever since I learned how to master it from my father and thanks to him I have known how to create my own families as easy as 123. Sims Superstar is one of my fave Sims expansion packs because you can make friends with some stars such as Avril Lavigne to the late Marilyn Monroe and meet some new and inspiring friends on the way to becoming a superstar. While some parts of the game are tricky for me I got the hang of it easily. It is now one of my favorite games that i love to play all the time. Here are some celebrities that should be made into downloadable Sim Celebrities, Ronald Reagan Aaliyah Lisa Left Eye Lopes Barry White Bill Clinton Tim Mcgraw Faith Hill Dr. Phil Donald Trump Regis Philbin Selena Kathie Lee Gifford Kelly Ripa If you are a fan of American Idol and a A Sims nut like me you shall not miss this and i hope reading my review may help you, Thank you for your time
Rating: Summary: Who Can't Love the Sims? Review: Another great sims expansion pack. There are new objects and people. Go to Studio Town to earn your fame and a spot in the top. Build a recording studio or a outdoor concert. You start of doing boring karaoke, but then progress to do recordings and music videos. Become a superstar. You can go to spas and have an obsessed fan (which get's annoying). Another great job my Maxis. Check out these games: "The Sims" or "The Sims Deluxe" "Living Large" "House Party" "Hot Date" "Vacation" "Unleashed" "Makin Magic" AND slated to release in September 2004, The Sims 2. If you buy "Makin Magic", you will get a sneak preview to The Sims 2. It's awesome.... check it out. BUY THIS GAME!

Rating: Summary: Wow Review: I have every single expansion pack. This is the only sim expansion pack where you follow your sim to work. It is a tough job. Can your sim handle the pressure? A better question is Can you?
Rating: Summary: Fame all around! Review: it was good but its not easy to be a success in this game
Rating: Summary: Been There, Done That but to No Avail... Review: I fell for the very flashy (I own the Collector's Edition), orange cover art of this game, and I completely bought everything it said to me, but I've been a bit disappointed. The Sims Superstar can start to lag and be very tedious especially once your Sim has achieved 2 stars. The modelling for swimwear and winterwear is endless, and I always hope in vain after every shoot that the chart would be upgraded for my Sim to have 2 and a half stars. I'm still in the midst of playing it and none of my Sims are superstars yet.
I recommend you to install this expension pack or if not, sign up with the Talent Agency only if your Sims already have high points in Creativity, Body and Charisma for you to go into the nuts and bolts straight away. It's almost impossible to work on it after you've signed up with the Talent Agency as Body for instance tires Sims out easily, and they tend to sleep the whole day away, and once they wake up, its their Fun that's lacking which takes half a day to satisfy, soon its back to their Energy bar dropping again and there won't really be a time to go to Studio Town which isn't all fine and dandy since postponing trips might cause your Sims to drop or lose star power all together.
Also, I recommend your Sim having a roommate. It's the social bar that's usually close to being empty through frequent visits to Studio Town, as other sims ranking higher than yours won't bother talking to you and other sims who are ranking low would only wantto hug you or ask for autographs. The fame-seeking sims are usually tired to bother going all the way to Downtown just to exchange a few words with their friends which could boost the social relationship immensly, while having a roommate is much easier. A quick hug or kiss will do, and the social bar's already a pale green.
I got off well with this expansion pack, and it was fun to watch my Sim progressing from a nobody to a somebody, but it's been quite stagnant for a while, which is boring. Still, it's not bad, maybe a little patience is required, that's all.
Rating: Summary: Not as fun as I thought it would be Review: I know everyone has favorites in The Sims world. I enjoy the Hot Date expansion pack best, though I've learned to appreciate the House Party expansion and the Unleashed expansion (keep me away from those pets). But like the Vacation expansion pack, I found this one to be really undesirable.
The worst part? Because you actually work in "sim time" you never get a moment's rest from your sim. And home life becomes secondary to keeping up with all your famous friends.
