Summary: ok game
Review: Decent first attempt at making a game that models the complexity of Real Estate. Being involved in Real Estate Development, I thought this game would be an interesting go, and it was for about the first week. It takes you through acquisition, renovations, renting and selling condos, shops and office space. One thing the game lacks is appropritate "Marketing Analysis" (ie. you cant tell what service is needed in which areas) so your really just going through the game, successfully, with no reason why. Its a good first attempt to capture the market, but lacks in depth. Trump put his 2 cents in however, Activision really slacked with the gameplay...poor audio, map control, zoom levels, statistcal modeling, etc. However, if you are interested in Real Estate and have $..., this is probably worth its money, it may be the only chance you ever have to compete with Trump!

Review: Donald Trump's Real Estate Tycoon is a ok game. kinda hard to figure out.hardly any instruction manual comes with the game only to tell you how to install the game. The game is partly confusing Activision could come up with a better way to make the game more simple. I been a Fan of Trump's for awhile.
The gameplay is ok once you figure out how to play.
I really didnt like the game that much because it was too complicated and time crawled in the game it could of went faster.

Summary: Stick with SimCity or try Capitalism 2
Review: I was thinking "SimCity helped me learn about real estate and land use in a simplistic and fun way, so maybe there will be other games that might help me learn about real estate." Don't waste your time. This game sucks. It's simplistic and has no depth whatsoever.

SimCity is still the best real estate game around, even if it is only in a roundabout sort of way.

If you want a decent business game, try Capitalism 2. Good tutorials and an actual understanding of how businesses run.

Review: This game was nothing of what I thought it would be. I got into the second mission and thought, "Is this it?" From what I can tell, there is only 5 missions. I couldn't take anymore past the second mission.

You can't scroll around like in SimCity, Restaurant Empire, etc. It just very one dimensional. If you are looking for a game that doesn't have all the bells and whistles, then this is the game for you.
