Summary: A bit Odd
Review: This game [is bad], to be quite blatient. It is extreamly hard to get your funds going up, for starters, and there are many other thing wrong with it. When you are suposedly losing money, your actualy gaing money, but some times you can go rupt anyways. The rides are a joke, and the interactive "let-u-ride-it", isnt interactive. Over all, the only reason I gave it a single star is that when you finaly start making money, you feel so good that you actualy defied what the degsiners seemingly wanted you to do, loose! This game is a definate disapointmen from Sim, and I wouldnt pay so for it.

Summary: BORING!!!
Review: When I first got this game for my birthday, I was so excited. I opened the box and found out it was the gold version. I raced to the computer and downloaded it right away. For the first couple of hours it worked great, but in the next couple of days it started slowing down and acted like it had bugs in it. Then it made it hard to go from one end of your parks to the other cuz it was really slow getting there. I hate that there are only 4 themes but all of them have the same rides with different looks. I was really disappointed. Right now I can't even get to the 4th theme cuz I can't earn that 5th stupid golden key because my park is not perfect enough. The "helper" is annoying and slows down game play. If you want a game that will really agitate you then this game is for you. If not, I would reccommend Roller Coaster Tycoon or The Sims. I gave this game 2 stars cuz it is pretty fun for the first couple of hours but then it gets really old and annoying after a while.

Review: I really like this game. It's cool being able to create our very own theme park! But, you lose money fast. And I mean FAST! You've got to strategize, like you need to in all strategy games. So, if your not good at strategy games, this isn't the game for you. P.S.- the graphics aren't that great, kinda slow downloads, and it crashes every so often.

Summary: this is fun....well not really.....
Review: OK- I've had Roller coaster Tycoon forever. It's SUCH a good game. SimTheme park- no. I bought it because I wanted a new theme park game- new rides and stuff. I installed it and had problems right away. It has slow game play, fuzzy graphics, no point, no cool rides, and riding you rides is not cool at all either (I thought it would be!). So seriously, buy Roller Coaster Tycoon. it has cool graphics, awesome gameplay, a point (hey, what a concept!), and is SOOOOOOO much more fun. SimTheme park will make you want to kick your computer because of all the things you can't do that seem so entirely simple (like rotating rides!)! Oh, and the roller coasters are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better, cooler, and easier to build than SimTheme Park. Don't buy SimTheme Park- I already uninstalled it after owning it for 2 weeks!

Summary: Personally...I thought it was great!
Review: Being a faithful follower to the Sims line, I picked this game up 2 years ago. I don't think anyone could have done a better job. I found the controls to be easy to use out of any simulation game. The advisor actually helped a lot the first couple of days..but, like others, I turned him off. Unlike Roller Coaster Tycoon, this game offers MORE variety of features, theming, and rides. I found it rather nice to have around 20 different rides in each park to choose from. I gave 4 stars because it's fairly easy to lose in this game...and I don't like to lose. :)

Review: I honestly don't think they could have made this game any worse if they tried! It is the most boring game in the world, theres nothing to do, all the worlds are the same, basically it sucks. If you want to get a theme park making game get Roller Coaster Tycoon, its really fun. If you buy this you'll just be wasting money, because trust me, you will never play it again!!!!

Review: BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR MONEY listen to me! I being a Maxis fan and liking Rollercoaster Tycoon really wanted this game.It is a horrible game. Possibly one of Maxis's worst games. It is very slow if you have a computer like mine(not sure what are the megs of ram etc.). Also like everyone else says it looks very cartoonish. I suggest you save your money and are very interested in buying a rollercoaster game buy Roller Coaster Tycoon or if you want to buy a Maxis game buy the Sim's or something like that. once again DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Review: I found this game to be incredibly dull and boring, that is after it actually worked. Back when I got this game ( about 6 months ago ) I had a 500mhz computer with a Voodoo graphics accelerator but this game doesnt work. I tried it on 2 computers and it hardly worked, i have no idea why this is but it would crash and shut down and take FOREVER to load. After waiting 15-20 minutes for it to load, I finally started playing it, expecting it to be excellant...it wasn't. The graphics are ok, but they look like a cartoon! You think would be cool to ride the rides but it isnt, it looks stupid. You can hardly make any choices, maxis made them all for you. You can't just choose a place and start building you have to follow along with the little story. My advice: If you really want a good Maxis game, get the Sims! It is addictive ( but gets old after a few months ) but thats another story.

Summary: An absolute waste of money
Review: Being a Roller Coaster Tycoon fan, I bought this expecting a similar experience, but with more up to date graphics. The graphics are indeed extremely good, but everything else is pretty pathetic. The only advantage that this game has over Roller Coaster Tycoon is the ability to ride the rides you build. You are "trapped" in a certain theme whether you like it or not, therefore customizations are limited. Another really frustrating aspect is the fact that you cannot "zoom out" to get an entire overhead view of the park. It also is a bit too "cartoonish" for my tastes. I wish that I would have read the Amazon reviews before buying this game! Do not buy this game!
