Summary: best sim game out there
Review: I have played about every sim out there and this one is by far the best. The animals are demanding and the guests are very hard to please which makes things interesting and very time consuming. Picking up poop piles can become a hassle and it seems like no matter what I do I have still have tons of hungry guests. I usually end up spending hours on this game. It's definately one of my favorites.

Summary: The fun has just begun.
Review: I think Microsoft made a wise choice creating Zoo Tycoon. You know your going to have fun by just looking at the box. You can build so much stuff like trees, Food shops, Restrooms and on and on and on but what I really like about the game is that you can change the terrain type in the exhibits and I also like the great selection of animals their are I would have never guessed they would have so many animals like Giant Panda's, Black Leopard's, Red Kangaroos, African Elephants and 45 other animals. Also one of the fun things about the game is that your animals can escape. For me that is the best thing Microsoft came up with in Zoo Tycoon.

With animals to take care of you also have to manage the biggest problem of all Your Guests! If animals are not happy then fewer people will want to come to your park and if your animals escape people will be to scared to come to your Zoo. And remember the bigger and nicer the zoo the more money and visitors you'll get.

So if your looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon then get Zoo Tycoon you'll be guaranteed to have fun in no time.

Summary: Your Own Animal Kingdom
Review: I bought this game after a few weeks of indecision about whether I should. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. It's extremely easy to learn and playable right out of the box. The scenarios are challenging, but not impossible, and the Sandbox mode (which allows you to set the amout of money you start out with) is a great way to learn the game without the limitations or requirements of scenarios.

This would be a great game for kids as well!

Summary: Hours of Fun
Review: If you are totally into animals and are 7-8 years old, you (and your parents) can spend hours playing this game. From playing preset scenarios to creating your own zoo from scratch, you'll have loads of fun. My daughter loves being in charge of each creating the right habitat for each animal she "adopts." She's had this game for 2 months and plays it whenever she can.

Summary: zoo tycoon.............
Review: this is a really good game,it has a ton of cool features like: you can Pick from a bunch of differnt animals, you can build their habitats, hire empolyees, build refreshment stands for guests, build entertainment for the guests, and a ton of other things.I think you would like this game if you enjoy tycoon-type games and/or are interested in zoos.....and if you have a lot of patience...

Summary: Not as good as I'd hoped
Review: I was hoping for another game as great as RollerCoaster Tycoon, but this one isn't it. The zookeepers wander off and don't do their job. It's impossible to keep the animals happy and fed. The workers don't do their work! The game is just sort of boring and frustrating. It is nothing like RollerCoaster Tycoon. If you don't have RollerCoaster Tycoon, BUY THAT ONE INSTEAD!

Summary: Don't Feed the Animals...
Review: Zoo Tycoon tries its best to capitalize on the whole "Tycoon" genre. But dialogs and settings are somewhat confusing, and keeping your animals happy is a full time challenge. (Just wait until you try to get past the Endangered Cats scenario.) But overall this game is a good addition to anyones tycoon/simulation collection....expecially if you've always wanted to run your own animal park.

Summary: I expected it to be better.
Review: I was eagerly anticipating this game before it came out but after playing it for only a month I found that I was quickly getting bored with it. It gets very tedious to make the animals habitats in a way that keeps them happy and I found myself getting annoyed with them wanting more grass, more dirt, more fresh water, on and on and on. The scenarios are particulary boring and don't add anything interesting to the gameplay.
