Summary: Par-Tay! (well sorta)
Review: I just have to say that I am a HUGE fan of the sims and I have ALL the expansion packs. This one is pretty cool I must say, but has a lot of draw-backs. I'll start with the good stuff. First of all the best new function is gotta be the "throw party" option. I like that because it has a lot more social group activites such as the campfire and the bubble blower (a very cool idea by the way), but some of the stuff is just a little much, like the entertainer coming out of the cake (though quite amusing because its one thing that brings everyone together). Also it has some interesting ways to improve skills, such as mechanical bull-riding (body skill). they almost always fall off, but its a lot of fun to have around because its a huge hit with the party. Also there are a lot more music styles and a cool d.j. spinner thing. The only problem is that there is like no dj and instead of enjoying the party, the host/hostess has to spin CDs for people to dance to on this cool color-changing dance floor. But it's really hard to have a good party (well for me) and the mime almost always shows up and doesn't go away, its so annoying and just makes the party worse. Plus in order to have a party, you must have a LOT of "moolah" and a lot of space to have it in. but there are definite rewards to throwing a good party- your social rating goes up, you make new friends, you have fun and drew carey might show up if the party is REALLY good. What I don't like is that there are a limited number of like non-party items and no new jobs :( But I do like the new clothing and the funky-colored heads. You can even create a sort of teenager (not in reality, but in clothing and heads and stuff). All in all, this is a definite must have for MAJOR sim fans, but if you don't like the sims THAT MUCH (though I can't imagine why), its something that you can live without.

Summary: Excellent Game!
Review: "House Party" is a must for any owner of The Sims! This expansion pack comes with more skins, items, and much more! They did an excellent job putting in lots of new items for party usage.

Summary: 1 of the best games I've ever played
Review: IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF THE SIMS COULD GO TO THEIR
NEIGHBORS HOUSE . OTHER WISE IT WAS PERFECT .

Summary: ~*The Sims House Party*~
Review: The sims house party is the expansion of the sims and the sims livin' large. The main feature of the game is to have parties and if they are a dud, the infamous "MIME" will come and visit, and try to cheer your guests up. If the party is a success then you will have famous stars coming to visit. The only one I know is Drew Carey and belive me, the sims are mighty impressed from his limo to his personality. In the sims house party you will find a lot of additional objects, skins, wallpaper, windows, etc. It's a lot of fun! Go on and try it!

Summary: "Livin' Large" and "Hot Date" better
Review: This game really isn't that great compared to the other expansions. In "Livin' Large" you get a ton of new furniture and more action options. In "Hot Date" going to town is a blast. In this game you receive new furniture (not as much as "Livin Large" does) and the ability to call a caterer. Other than that, there's not much to it. I only bought this because I knew that without it, you can't download some of the new additions at The Sims website.

Summary: THE BEST GAME EVER!
Review: My aunt gave me The Sims last year and I thought it was a really cool game! Then, I got Livin' Large for Christmas and it rocked too! For my birthday I got a $30 gift certificate to Office Max and I knew what I wanted! The next day I went out and bought it and it was the best expansion pack yet!!! I haven't tried Hot Date but I'm gonna buy it soon!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this game!!!!!!

BEWARE::::There are a lot of system requirements before running The Sims series.
RECOMMENDATION:

Before you install it:
Run ScanDisk
Also, run the DeFrag!
It really helps!

Summary: Great add-on to a great game
Review: Anyone who's played The Sims can attest to the addictive nature of the game. This add-on only helps to stoke the fire even more, as it adds a lot of great items and new potential for your Sim household. 5 stars, for sure!

Summary: THE SIMS ROCK!!!!
Review: I got the sims for christmas and also the House party expansion. The Sims has got to be one of the best games I have ever played. And trust me, I am a very avid gamer. The only letdown is that sometimes it's hard to meet people. With the new "more than one neighborhood" system, you can create over 30 families. But they don't really meet each other. So you really only have about 10 people per party usually. But that doesn't matter because of all the other things you can do!
