Summary: I played this at the sims fan party on march 17th!
Review: Wow,this game was amazing, and I can say that because i really did play it at the sims fan party in san fransisco! Will Wright was there, and the game was awesome. I also got to play what they had done with simsville (which isn't much) even some buildings aren't completed yet! Anyways, get the sims house party!

Summary: House Party makes the game a party!
Review: This expansion makes the game so much better. The Sims was missing this aspect of human life badly. This allows you to make friends and do stuff besides talk at partys. The people and the items are awesome. You don't know the sims if you haven't played this game!

Summary: Awesome!
Review: The Sims is an amazing game but after buying the and using the objects over and over you crave something more. That's what these expansions are for!!! They 'expand' you game (hence the name) by providing tons more wallpaper, skins, floors, building options, and objects. Also introduced are new game concepts:

-New NPC's: The Caterer, The Exotic Dance ;), the Tragic Mime, The Campfire Ghost, Party Crashers, and more

-Objects such as the dance floor, DJ booth, punch bowl (with side effects), costume trunk, mechanical bull, etc. radically can make or break a party.

- 3 new themes, rave, hula, and country, come with objects, decorations, and skins costume built

Check this game out! It'll give you tons more fun with The Sims!

Summary: House Party is a Blast!
Review: If you have the attention span of, say, a brain-hemorrhaging parrot, you may want to look elsewhere for fun and excitement. But if you're into the Sims as much as my family, friends and I are, House Party is worth every cent! Expanding remarkably on Livin' Large, House Party introduces three additional architecture styles, a load of extra objects, and many new decorating schematics and outfits. Among my favorites are the giant surprise cake, the mechanical bull and the DJ. As an add-on, House Party lives up to its title, with results that will amaze you and keep you busy for hours! Start thinking up excuses to give your boss, in other words! What House Party doesn't do is allow internet play online, which I think would make the Sims so much more enjoyable and engaging. Still, House Party--in and of itself--is as addicitive as its predecessors, making the Sims a more fully-developed creative tool that is as much fun for adults as it is for teens.

Summary: The expansion really "Drew" me more into the Sims!
Review: This expansion rocks. I've always wanted to see what the flirtatious (to be polite) Bella Goth would be like on the dance floor, and man, I wasn't disapointed.

The Livin' Large expansion was fun, but was essentially just a collection of objects. House Party has new objects, sure--but it also has new ACTIVITIES, and new ways for your Sims to interact. In other words, it expands the gameplay of The Sims. This is a terrific expansion!

SPOILER ALERT!

And the Drew Carey character was hilarious--since it never rains, I've always stuck the pool table outside. It was so funny the first time Drew came over and started shooting pool in my backyard.
