Rating: Summary: Great fun, but watch out parents! Review: This game is a cool add-on to the Sims, but I was a little shocked at some of the material in the game. I bought the game for my twin ten year-old boys as a birthday gift, thinking it would be appropiate for them since the original Sims was. Some things I was upset with were the dancing cages, Dancer in the Cake, hookah (which I wasn't too upset about, but it's still might upset other parents) That's all I found, but I would think twice if you're purchasing this for someone under 13. I'm not accusing this game of being evil or anything, I think it is very fun and enjoyable, but just watch out, parents! As for the older kids, the game is "da bomb".
Rating: Summary: Lots of fun!! Review: When I first bought the Sims last year, it literally changed my life. I've never been SO addicted to a computer game before! I think this expansion pack was much needed, because my sims always use to try to have parties prior to the expansion pack and they always failed. This adds a lot of fun to throwing a party and takes a lot of the work out of it too! Your sims can now cater their party, hire entertainment, wear costumes, play party games, and much more. Probably the best thing about this expansion pack is that it does make it much easier to make friends and thus advance your sims carrers. Besides all the new party entertainment, you also get lots of new objects and skins too. So gather up your sims and have them roast marshmellows around the camp fire, blow bubbles from the bubble maker, wear costumes, or dance in a cage. Don't be surprised if a few unexpected events occur though. I won't give them away, but you'll be pleasantly surprised!
Rating: Summary: An Excellent Buy! Review: Having bought the last Expansion pack, I knew that 'House Party' was going to be great. There are over 100 new objects and loads of new options to use throughout the game. The mechanical bull sets off a party great in my neighbourhood and having special guests coming round to your own house is excellent. This game is a must have for any sim owner. This'll keep you entertained for weeks!
Rating: Summary: The Best Sim Add-On By Far! Review: I will make this short and sweet, this pack rocks! there's so much new stuff like mechanical bulls, discos, raves and a lot, lot more it is definatly worth buying! I haven't found anything that I haven't liked about ths game yet.
Rating: Summary: Totally Awesome! Review: I loved this game! I would not have changed a thing about it. I would have spent $...! Buy it!END
Rating: Summary: It Keeps Getting Better and Better ! ! ! Review: My wife and I have been hooked on the Sims so long, we really can't recall what live was like before the Sims (let alone Livin' Large.) A quirky, exciting and addictive game... it just keeps getting more and more quirky and addictive... and everytime the fun starts to wear off, either you can find neat stuff on the website or they come out with exciting expansion packs like this. In a nut shell, in addition to all the added goodies (100+ new items according to the box, but it'll take time to get to all of them) what this expansion back does that makes it really worth while is takes the social interaction and relationship between your players to a whole new level. - - A particular problem we often have with our games that often our Sims are too busy to have social lives... and before the expansion packs, when they'd come over, all they could do was sit around, eat and watch TV (which is what real life guests do anyway) - - with this game, you can throw parties, and everyone in the neighborhood will drop by. Your Sims will tell stories around the camp fire, wip out a guitar and have group sing alongs while roasting marshmellows(the ones you grew up on, but in Sims jibberish and listen to them harmonize with each other), dance (w/ help from a DJ), even eat turkey and fall asleep left and right. - - The Sims expansion also will not only enhance your players social life (making both their life and your games more exciting) but will also boost fun level, charisma and more. In summary, the Living Large expansion pack took the Sims to a whole new level of fun and reality... this pack does it again, and I'm sure more surprizes are to yet to come... ! ! ! (By the way, does anybody use the Sims Art Studio... is it just me... I've yet to put up a picture my Sims don't boo at ???)
Rating: Summary: Its Pretty Neat! Review: Its not as good as i thought it would be, but i have no regrets on buying it. I can't wait for the next expansion pack comes out, i hope that it will include more basic family type objects and themes. Like objects for kids rooms and maybe get teenagers that grow up and move, and more skin features. House party is like a wild type, i would appreciate something more tame. But the new objects included, plus the EXTRA space for more houses is good. Overall rating: 2 thumbs up!!!
Rating: Summary: Keeps It Going Review: The Sims is an excellent game and the expansion packs just make it better. This is the game that i have played the most and i dont think that i will get bored of it. There are over eighty new objects that will keep everyone from the diehard player to the casual fan happy. Lets hope that they still keep these expansion sets coming as i dont ever want to stop playing this game
