Rating: Summary: Maybe Not Perfect, But I¿m Happy... Review: I've been playing The Sims for several months and I'm still addicted, so naturally I rushed to get the House Party Expansion Pack, and naturally, I like it and I'm glad I got it. Throwing my first party was a big hoot, as was my second, and my third party... I was so into it, it was as stressful and exciting as it would have been in real life, for heaven's sakes and I really need to get out more and all that. The novelty did wear off, and I haven't had my Sims throw a party in a long time. I like starting new Sims and new households for one thing, and successful parties are expensive. (I want my parties to be successful. Unless there's some way of inflicting a slow, painful, torturous death on that mime who shows up when they're not successful. I really, really hate the mime.) I'm happy with some of the new objects and skins (I wish there were more skins); the tables, counters, wall coverings, the great new music, and so forth. But there's a feeling of lacking something and there's still very little choice in some of the objects. By the time I have my houses set up comfortably and efficiently they tend to all look the same, but perhaps that's my unimaginative style of playing. In any case, having a party really is a lot of fun, with the exotic dancers, the 'bubble-blower' (heh), the caterer (who may have a secret or two hidden in his closet), the go-go cages, and the party-crashers (who are far trendier-looking than my Sims). Watch out for the bonfire; I had a Sim catch fire and die, and it was a real downer for the guests when the Angel of Death (from the Livin' Large Expansion Pack) showed up. (Hmm. Maybe there's a way to throw the mime on the fire?) In short, having a Sim party is like finding a new group of people in real life and enjoying their company, but eventually realizing that they always do the same funny, stupid things and tell the same jokes, over and over again. But, hey, they're your friends and you love them anyway.
Rating: Summary: The best game ever made! Review: This game was exquisite!!!!! There is no other game that can top it, with all of it's new features. When The Sims (Maxis) First came out, it was a phenomenon, and now The Sims: House Party is even bigger!!! You MUST buy this game! You'll enjoy it to the very last party whether or not Drew Carey comes to it or not! The Mime comes too! There are a bunch of great new FUNNY characters, the Caterer is pretty funny also...and the entertainers, whoa wee! Just do your-self a favor and order all three parts of The Sims!
Rating: Summary: The Sims House Party Review: Bored with Livin' Large? This game is defenitly for you. It contaians tons of new objects, especialy in the buy section of the game. It also contains some new things for building and new clothing choices for your sims. The best part though, is the "Through A Party" option. When chosen, all of the sims in the nieghborhood come over. They get to dance in the dance cages or on the light-up floor, eat all they want at the buffet, dj the music stand and party their heart out. Still not convinced to buy this game? Buy it! You'll be glad you did.

Rating: Summary: A great expansion pack! Review: This is a great expansion pack for the sims. You get a lot of very cool stuff like new wall paper and seats. It is worth the money. The only thing wrong with it is that is goes a little slow on my computer but my friend said it didn't make any differece on her computer. So I really reconmend it if you really want a good time and love to party. If you don't like to party get it anyway because of all the cool stuff. I REALLY recomend this game! If you don't have the livin large expansion pack I recomend that one too!
Rating: Summary: All The Sims ever needed was A party Review: The Sims House Party is great add-on to the sims or livin' large. Your sims can throw huge parties with one of three themes or go for a mixed bag. The idea is to avoid the mime and throw such a great party that a celebrity guest drops by. The only downside to this is that you need an incredably large amount of simolians (the official sim currency) to throw a decent party. This game gives a new challenge to all sims players.
Rating: Summary: WOW Review: Right when you think that the Sims is as fun as possible a new expansion pack comes out. There are TONS of new things, from walls, doors, and floors, to skins and objects (my personal favorite being the cake dancer). There are so many fun things that just exploring all the new things that you can do will occupy you for hours.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful way to continue with The Sims Review: This expansion pack, while not providing the major changes which appeared in 'Livin Large, still was worth the money. It includes: New windows (3 squares wide!), new doors, new objects, new wallpapers, and even new stairs and 'teleporter'. I love the now huge variety of new designs, plus the ability to make 'parties' much more fun and entertaining. The remotely activated surround sound speakers are wonderful, as are the cake dancers ;). I also like the ability to cater events. On the downside: my computer has problems with loading music. When it switches songs, and sometimes for no reason at all, The Sims quits out and I have to reload it. Altough this was occuring before I loaded House Party, it has increaced substanitally in occurance. It is probably just a problem with my computer, however. :) So, all in all: I loved this highly addictive game. The new decorations and items are wonderful, and throwing parties is a great way to make new friends. Overall advice: Strong Buy.
