Review: Giving this one star is much more than it deserves!! We purchased this game for Christmas for our 12 yr. old son...Call me old-fashioned but this certainly does not represent what we want our child to play. Ex: marry more than 1 sim (polygamy)just try another marriage without divorce, move in with same sex sim, sleep with whomever (child/adult), love triangle etc. I encourage parents to monitor this type of junk being sold to our impressionable children. Please read the instruction booklet,especially pages 31-35 and then decide if you want your child playing this type of trash...

Summary: BEST Computer Game EVER!!!!!!!!
Review: Awesome! Before I bought this game , I read the reveiws on this site. A lot them were five stars, so i thought it would be a good game. Boy, was I wrong! It's not good, IT'S GREAT! I you don't know whether to buy it or not, Go For It!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: SIMS are great!
Review: Love the SIMS games. They've become very addictive. I've played all except unleashed and hot date. (But I'm sure they're just as fun as the rest). This Deluxe edition is a nice way to get started. One bit of advise, SIMS online isn't all it's cracked up to be, so I wouldn't waste your money on that one.

Review: I am sure this is a great program, but ordered it from "Bargin Depot" and after 40 days have never seen it. They charge your credit Card and Rip you off. Check out the other ratings I am not alone.

Review: Before you judge the sims play them first...
the are very expensive but its worth it you practicly rule them you tell them when to have a shower toilet etc.its like a normal life but in a computer.
For apliances you can get big screen t.v.s stainless steall fridges,dishwashers you find jobs for them and it depends on their moods if they get promoted or not some of the jobs include:business/entertainment/law enforcement/life of crime/medicine/military/politics/pro athlete/science/x-treme/music/slaker/paranormal/journalism/ and a hacker the sims can have babies and you can purcase the love bed and they can play in it and hot tubs they get married and they move in . have a go..... go on try them they sound cool ..... (^_^)

Review: This fun and interesting game allows you to make a mockery of your own life, reveling in the commercialism that captivates every American.
The game is almost a satire. You begin by building a single person or family, choosing personality and appearances. With 20,000 Sim dollars you can begin by buying a lot, building your home, and buying necessary appliances and furniture. A large part of the enjoyment for me is playing interior decorator with all the architecture practice, wall treatment and flooring options, and great home furnishing and toys. These people must get jobs, to get money, to get more fabulous things! Career success (and raises) depend upon attitude, controlled by your Sim's health and happiness barameters, number of friends, and skills. Marriage combines the income of the partnering Sims, so it really encourages Black Widow behavior.
The game is highly addictive because it takes time for your Sim to earn enough money to buy the decorations and furniture YOU want. The add-ons encourage the habit.
The game is awesome, and there is quite a following so be sure to hunt online for cool looks, appliances, and objects to download into your game.

Review: i just installed the Hot Date and Vacation EP's. I bought the DE version and those EP's at the same time from amazon.com. now i am upset (not at amazon.com) but the game itself. the deluxe version installed with just those 2 EP's causes my system to run on very low memory. I run a P4 2.0, 80gig HD, 512 ddr ram, 128 bit graphic and sound cards. Anyway, when playing i noticed the game was running slow, come to find out my ram was down to 55mb-65mb, which is very bad to run that low on a system that never runs that low. any lower i will get a message stating to close some programs. i tried restaring the computer and i was running at 320mb ram, i started the game, paused it, checked my usage on ram, it was back down to 57.9mb available. waste of money

Summary: Forget tycoon! go for sims!
Review: Wow. after tycoon games like zoo and roller caoster beating out every Sim game, im glad this one came in the picture to show Tycoon up. Ive never been a big fan of Sim games like Simcity anyway, mainly because i never really got interested...or unserstood them. However, I recently got hooked on the Sims at a friends house, and now i am addicted! This is the only game you will ever need! well, that and the expansion sets, of course :) However, if you are considering buying the Sims, make is the Deluxe edition. It is worth it to upgrade from the original Sims, because youre going to want to add on soon after opening and playing it anyway, so you'll save some time.

Summary: Why wouldn't you wanna get it?
Review: I see people saying that they are true Sim fans and that they won't get this. The truth is that every single Sim fan needs this game so that they will be able to experence the whole thing! How can you say that you hate all Itallian food if you haven't tasted it? How can you say that The Sims Deluxe Edition isn't worth all of the money if you haven't tried it? I am a big fan of the Sims (no duh) and if you're a parent of a Siming child this is a must have for Christmas!
