Summary: URU: Too much hype
Review: This age of myst was one the really dissappointed me. Upon getting the game, it wouldnt play on my system because of the video card, so i had to buy a new card to play it. But the game itself is really boring, you spend all your time searching every inch of the screen to find things. All the other myst series had it alot easier to see when you had something to look at or click on, but not this game. If you are not in the exact right spot, you will miss something that you need to continue the game. I never finished playing URU because you are not sure what you are looking for, also you almost need a PHd to solve a few of the puzzles. This game was a big waste of my money, and i hope that they go back to the drawing board on the next installment they make. Get back to some of the old myst, newer isnt always better!

Summary: WOW
Review: Uru is definately worth your time. I have been a fan of the Myst series, but this tops them all thus far. I can't wait to get my hands on Myst IV.

Summary: unfinished buiness, tricky manuverability
Review: this was a dissapointment for a person who has played all the previous Myst games. im not a computer gammer, myst games are the only computer games that i play. i was at first drawn to thier user intresting storylines and fun yet challenging puzzles.

Uru, however, is a bump in the series of games. the plot is confusing and unexplained, especially if you dont purchase the cheat book to answer some of the questions. in previous myst games, everything ment something. in uru however, this isn't so . there are strange parts of the game that will leave you saying "Why am i doing this and why am i here," for example the strange "prison worlds" as i and my friend called them.
the puzzles involve more computer skills than hard thinking, becuase you have to manuver yourself or objects. The answers to the puzzles are bizzare and it seems that they more dumb luck answers than anything else. there were 2 or 3 good puzzles in the game. otherwise, the silliness of what i was doing was frustrating.
im not giving up though on the myst games and am hoping "Revelation" will be on the right track!!

Summary: Uru, Different but Awesome
Review: I feal sorry for all those guys who think Uru stinks. I've played every Myst game in the series. There is nothing wrong with Uru. Sure it may be a little different, but it's still Myst. If the fact that you can see yourself or the lack of some really hard puzzles bugs you, then wait for Revelation! Wheather you've played any of the Myst games or not, I think you'll love this game.

Summary: Uru Live is BACK, sort of...
Review: Uru: Ages Beyond Myst had originally contained online content, in the form of Uru Live.
While Uru Live closed its doors back in February of 2004, that aspect of this game has been given new life in the form of Until Uru.
Now, the purchase of this version of Uru once again gives you the opportunity to go online, via Until Uru, a seperate grassroots project that grew out of the original Uru Live community, with the blessing and support of Cyan.
Uru is a world within worlds of lush environments, challenging puzzles, and unparalleled human interaction.
Anyone who likes the Myst games, wants to try something new, or just feels like hanging out with like-minded people, should buy this game and immediately seek out the means to play it as it was originally intended to be played.
Uru Live didn't have enough support.
Acting NOW, together we have a chance to write our OWN story.

Summary: Graphic eye candy away from the usual FPS and fast actions
Review: We all seem to love Call of Duty, or some sports carnage. While Uru presents us back to simple basic thinking, and feeding us back with remarkable graphics to ease our wounded cyber injuries from those fast paced shooters.
