Summary: Croc: Legend of the Gobbos
Review: A baby crocodile raised by furry creatures named 'Gobbos'. Sounds silly right? Exactly. Adapted from Playstation version, this games graphics are not the best. In fact, the graphics are 50% of what makes the game so hard. Besides that, this game has a lot of content. With 144 Gobbos to free, 9 bosses to beat, and 45 levels (plus 24 bonus levels), this game isn't as easy as it looks. There are over 35 different species of enemies that you can non-violently "kill" or maybe just make dust colored dust out of them. Croc can walk, run, tailswipe, swim, fly on balloons, jump, double jump, do cartwheels, and more! To get to the last 'secret levels' you have to collect every single gobbo. They sit and wait for you on or in boxes, in cages, on platforms, and even in games. Some games are the switch around boxes game, the box chase game, the pot game, and the button-pushing game. There is a level full of games, and a level full of puzzles. Passwords save your game without using a slot. The games disc is even CD player compatible! You can listen to all 41 backround music songs. A sequel is now out with more complex levels. Over all, I give this game a big thumbs up!

Summary: Croc is 3 stars
Review: Croc is a 3 star video game. It is kind of boring, but the 3-D graphics are great. Another reason why Croc is 3 stars is because it is a very boring and easy to beat video game. Croc is kind of slow too.

The game is about a crocodile that that has to save gobbos from the evil Dantini. Gobbos are brown fuzzy little creatures.

Summary: Dude, WHY are the gurdians so hard to beat?!?!
Review: I found Croc a good game , but WHY did they have to make the guardians so hard? I thought that the first guardian would be easy, because usually on video games they make the first `Boss' (in this case a gurdian) easy to beat. But no! On this game they had to make the first guardian so hard that I had to on the internet and get a password to get past it! (Atually I got a password for all the levels, but if you want to know it go to www.google.com then type in the box Croc:Legend of the Gobbos, and when it says at the top Did you mean...... well if it says Croc:Legened of the Gobbos then click on that and you will get to a page full of `Croc' things. Anyway back to my review.....) The only easy guardian on the game was Chumly the rocket man which is a bit annoying. Oh and another thing is colecting Gobbos can be a waste of time.

Summary: A very cute game named: Croc:Legend of the Gobbos
Review: Well, I thought this game was extremely fun and non-violent. There is a cute little crocodile named croc who runs around squishing enemies and freeing his friends, the gobbos. Although people say the graphics are bad, they are actually quite good, it all depends on the computer. On my computer from 95, the graphics were indeed pretty bad. However, when I tried it on my new Gateway computer, the speed and graphics were excellent! Furthermore, the game is quite challenging. For example, in each level Croc is supposed to rescue 6 gobbos. In order to get the 6th gobbo, croc needs to get 5 diamonds to let him pass through a door which leads to a room where the last gobbo is hidden. There are 37 levels in this game. However, if Croc does not get all the gobbos and the jigsaw pieces resulting after beating the boss, you only get 32 levels. Collecting the 8 jigsaw pieces opens up a secret archipelago= 5 extra levels.

Summary: A perfect guilty pleasure
Review: Yes, I rated this game 5 stars. Why would I rate a game about a little green crocodile with 1 tooth, little fuzzy things called gobos, and lots of other cutesy animals, 5 stars? Because this game does what few others have done: made me unashamed to love a cute, bright, overly-happy game such as this. The storyline is simple yet fun, the gobos are a puzzle unto themselves just to free, the "special challenges" at the end of each level (providing you get all 5 gems) are quite hard, the boss's are unique and require some skill, and the graphics are bright, fresh, crisp, and gorgeous. But my favorite part is still the music, I can't help it, it's so catchy! Listen in particular to the first level's theme and the theme for the first desert level, could it fit the game more perfectly?

The only draw-back, the one and only problem with this game, is controlling dear little Croc. Once you learn to use him correctly he's easy, but sometimes when against a wall the "camera" behind him gets glitchy, and you may have trouble rotating around Croc to see better from a different angle. This can be such a problem that my friend quit the game in frustration after some time struggling with this, but honestly once you get used to it it's not too bad.

I highly recommend this for younger players and for anyone else who can appreciate this game simply for how good it is regardless of how exceedingly cutesy it gets.
