Rating: Summary: I likes 'em trucks Review: I have only played the demo(too lazy to go get the real one) (and in too big a hurry to review this) I can say that if the demo was that fun, the real game must be an all out roar'n good time. You get to choose which sibling/truck you will be/drive and what driving style. The demo comes with Rawkus Jackson and his graphic truck with the cool radiator fan turning behind the grill of his engine(oddly it doesn't increase in speed as his truck engine does). Rawkus, I take it likes to show off. The demo mods(and I probably will get knocked for posting this about a 'demo") are time races where you deliver a package/pig in a set amount of time, the more damaged the goods/injured the pig, the less stars you get for the mission(I assume stars = cash in the real game). What is great is it feels like a real truck; and yes thier is cockpit art(or rather cab art) so you get to be inside the truck where you should be(unlike NFS Porshe II where you are controling a RC). And no, gearshifting is not in the game, but this is more than just a truck driving sim. It is story driven and dealing with the business as well as your rig. In the demo I can only explain the truckdriving aspect. You have to shift gear "Sets" as in real trucks. Powerlow and High(cruse) your other shifts are not in the game. Although that would've been an interesting experience, trucks are tedious to shift and so it would not have been fun to play having to shift through sixteen or so gears unless you can find a truck console controller with steering wheel and gearshift box for 8 or so gears + low/high mode + clutch pedals. Seeing how there are few(if any) truck sims, I doubt they make controllers like that. It is fun and funny and the only reason I knocked off a star was the error message I got when I exited the game. The real game is probably patched to fix it.
Rating: Summary: Boring could've been better Review: I like this game only when i have nothing else to do but play this game. But like after 30 minutes it gets boring just driving a big truck selling and buying stuff its like come on it's just so not fun after 30 minutes to keep it simple don't buy this game it's not worth it
Rating: Summary: Boring could've been better Review: I rated the demo 4 stars the actual game five smackers! The truck driving aspect is more than just driving the truck. It's driving the truck with suped up engines, armour and extended trailors for make'n bux. Reminds me of Smokey and the Bandit or B. J. Mckay or that Incredible Hulk episode with the Lady trucker with the hot rod truck that drove like a Corvette. Bobbie Sue's rig has the best acceleration fully turbo'd. Earl's has the worst even with the turbo mach III. The game consists of hauling loads to make money and "jobs" which are posted at random by the bartender. the "Jobs" are also availible in Mission mode but are not as much fun with out your suped up armoured rig. You get to unlock cheats though. In the main game, The towns and cities are a laugh and a half. The Western Hiegths mechanic who just cracks me up. "Ole smokey she sho was thirsty" "Im gonna dip my ole toes in the river" or "next time yall come down we gonna have rosted corn cob for dinner." and always talks about fishing. or the others with lines like "Farewell, you capitolist dog" "changing a trailer is like the coat of a bear(lost in translation)." and many personalities from across the board(game). Chastity with her weird Earl fantasies. Cherlie the fake "desert queen" from NY or something and the ever ditzy and very well dressed Suki. Also the wife-feer'n guy at Skeeter's creek. And the ponny apple from Salt Sea talking to Earl. you can't stop laughing. It's priceless. I have only played through the game with Earl the slob and next up the nutty toothless guy Cletus. (...)P. S. ATI Radeons are notorious for being, well lousy at implementing games with fancy graphics and generally lousy cards. I have the Radeon 9800 XT top of the line and its performance stinks like deasil in a sportscar. Just turn everything down in the drivers(AA none) and up in the game settings(AA 4x ect.) and you'll be fine.

Rating: Summary: Fun & Addictive Review: This game is great if you've got a lot of time to play. There's 2 modes. Mission mode, and Trial by Truckin. In all games you pick between 4 different drivers. In mission mode, you are asked to complete specific tasks like "Smash 15 cars in 90 seconds" or deliver organ tissue to the city before it dies. There are tons of missions. Some easy, and some really hard, so you can get frustrated at times. You can save your progress. The trial by truckin is best tried after you've gone through all of the missions. You have 60 days to make as much money as possible by buying loads, delivering to different towns, and making profit. If you have the most money after 60 days you win. Unfortunately, each day takes about 15 minutes, so multiply 15 x 60, and that's over 15 hours of playing to get through the 60 days. It's very hard to stay ahead of the other 3 drivers, and the biker scum that chase your truck get increasingly frustrating. They keep jumping on your truck, and you really have to ruin your truck to get them off of it. Otherwise they hijack you, and you lose your rig. If I had a choice, the bikers would be off of this game. It's more fun running from the police anyway. So overall fun, but can be very frustrating. After you've made it through 60 days, you'll likely never want to play it again.
