Summary: Puzzling!
Review: At first I was slightly annoyed that all the puzzles were purely graphic-- I was hoping that there would be brain teasers and logic games and such as well. But the puzzles are gorgeous, addictive, and incredibly calming. Whenever I get stressed out, I like to play this game. A few puzzle types got a little redundant, but overall it's a pretty addictive program.

Summary: Pandora's Box
Review: Best game I've ever purchased. Have played it at least 6 times all the way through. It's a classic, play it again and again game. Love the art and colors and variety of puzzles. Excellent investment. Hoping that they will come out with a Pandora's Box II.

Summary: From a classroom teacher's point of view.....
Review: Did you ever have a student that got done so quickly that you didn't know what to do with them? Was the principal's suggestion, "Let them tutor the others." Did you ever think that this student could do more than be your unpaid classroom aide? Well, this program can do many things for your student. It can give them better fine motor skills. It can develop their right brains. It can allow them to work in cooperative teams to solve a puzzle that may fit more into someone elses' learning style than their own. It can help teach cooperation. It can foster better home communications if the parent can work with the child to solve some of these puzzles. It can create a sense of unity and of teamwork between friends. It can do many things, or it can isolate one person on one problem at a time. I use it in my classroom. It is a favorite of the 8th graders. Many students will beg to come in at lunch to solve the problems. They work with friends, or they will even work with me! They love to work together, boys, girls, teachers; it's all the same. "Solve the puzzle" becomes more important than ages, groups, or discrimination! The Puzzles get harder and harder. The challenges get better and better. I love this game so much, I bought 6 copies for my classroom. I put my money where my mouth was. Try it you can't lose.

Summary: Pandora's Box-WOW!
Review: I am a devout puzzle fan and for me this game rocks! I am a 30+ year old mother of 3 and this game relaxes me after a long day. The different puzzle types are what I truly enjoy-you don't just pick up a piece and place it. The focus point and rotoscope variations are my ultimate favorites. Anyone who enjoys a good puzzle should try this game. You don't kill anything, but you get to travel without paying hotel fees. Way to go to Pajitnov and Microsoft for bringing this game to the PC. How about Pandora's Box 2?

Summary: Addictive
Review: I bought this game because of other positive reviews and I am so glad I did. It's an excellent game if you like to be challenged. Time flies and it's refreshing not to be shooting at someone. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes to put their brain to the test.

Summary: Pandora's Box needs to be more difficult
Review: I enjoyed the game and the different varieties of puzzles but the difficulty levels did not increase appreciably as the game progresses. I had expected some of levels to be nearly impossible to complete but found almost all of the levels to be of easy to medium difficulty. It would have been nice if the more advanced levels were harder to complete.

Also, the way the games are constructed, there is no option for infinite variability. In other words, the pieces or puzzles are not reshuffled each time you reach the end. Each time you play it gets easier through the learning curve. This was a true disappointment.

I am still looking forward to add on modules, or additional images or pandoras box II

Summary: Unlocking Pajitnov's Pandora's Box Rocks
Review: I finished 4 puzzles in one day and it gets more and more difficult. Parents will want it for their kids because it teaches them to pay attention in puzzles. It also teaches Geography and shows precious items from countries all around the world. It's like traveling without having to leave your seat or learn the language. All this knowledge for only a penny a year ($20.00)? It's not something you can afford to miss. (Double ditto, if you're a Tetris fan!)
