Summary: Compatability
Review: I think this product would be good if you had made it for not only windows 95-98, this needs to be made for EVERYONE!

Summary: Lot's of fun
Review: I used to play the Board version at my wifes parent's house when I first dated her 10 years ago. When we went shopping for a few games for our new computer 2 years ago, found this, along with some of our other favorites.

Great fun, and a hoot to play. The best thing is that being computerized takes care of the manual administrative things, like counting money. (The same goes for similar games like Monopoly), and the graphics and cartoons are really entertaining. Nice is that you can play with as many as 6 or 8 human players, so everyone can get in. Either way you play is great.

Excellent game, and like other board games that translate to computer, a must have and great fun

Summary: Great Adaptation!
Review: I've always loved the board game version of "Life" - I played it hundreds of times with my family while I was growing up. The computer game version stuck to the board game as closely as possible. You spin the wheel exactly like the board game, your little car moves around just like the board game (they even copied the board almost exactly!).

It's pretty fun - I've played it a few dozen times and really enjoyed it. I wish that when you are generating your character there were a few more options (your character choices are EXTREMELY limited), but that is the only real fault I could find with the game.

The graphics are cartoonish - but it fits! Whenever you land on a spot, there is a short little clip showing what happened to you - these are pretty funny! Overall, it's a cute game. It would be perfectly acceptable for kids too - there is nothing bad in the game at all! Since its so cheap, I definitely recommend getting it and playing around, especially if you're a fan of the board game!

Summary: Get lucky in the game...
Review: I've always thought the board version of Life was just a little too long. With four or five people playing, it gets really boring really quickly. Then we found this version! The graphics are wonderful, the characters are a nice addition (my favourite being the suave fellow in the top right corner), and the new features in the embellished version are incredibly fun. More than just spinning the spinner over and over! But, as others have said, it does get boring after several times through. Do buy it, but don't over-play it. And when buying a house - this may just be a bug on my version, but for some reason the money spent never actually gets taken...

Summary: I've played it when I was young and now I want to replay it!
Review: I've played it when I was young and now I want to replay it! It was a success when I...when I was 12, I mean. And I've played it when I was young and now I want to replay it. Yeah. With the same basics of the same game in board version, the CD-ROM version adds music, sound effects and voices, that were not icliuded in the board version. When I get the CD-ROM, I won't stop playing! It's Marcelo Mauricio's word!

Summary: Mindless Fun
Review: It's not an arcade game where split seconds count. It's a happy game with jokes and a wonderful environment where cute things happen. Sometimes you win but you ALWAYS have fun getting there.

Summary: Game for all Seasons
Review: My mother, much younger brother, and I all have one thing in common. We love LIFE. Having never played the board game does not hamper your ability to play and enjoy this game. The graphics were comical and the music was relevant. Playing the computer does not equal sure defeat. This game hit the target.
