Rating: Summary: Sucks Review: There was misleading advertising used with this game. It indicated a MINIMUM of 256 colors is needed, but you can ONLY play it in 256 colors, meaning you must change your computer settings every time you want to play it. When I found that out, I immediately returned this ripoff.
Rating: Summary: DOES NOT WORK ON WIN 2000 Review: This does not work with Windows 2000. Don't waste your money.
Rating: Summary: A classic game! Review: This game is a lot of fun. I have been playing it for years (this particular computer version, I mean), and it still never ceases to entertain me. I don't know what these people mean about it not working well on XP. It works flawlessly for me, though I admit I have had problems with it on 98 and others. There is a fix out for the 256 color problem. But anyways, I highly recommend this game!
Rating: Summary: this is outmoded technology Review: this game takes over the screen and the computer in XP. It does not run in a window. It is an outmoded piece of software and should no longer be for sale. Scrabble is a classic but this software should be rewritten.
Rating: Summary: Will NOT run under Windows 2000 Review: This game will run on Windows 95 but with the release of Windows 2000 and XP the game has to be put to sleep. Infogrames Entertainment has to come out with an updated version for the newer OS's and computers. This is a 19th Century game still being sold in the 21st Century.
Rating: Summary: Simple game and educational as well Review: This is a simple game by today's standards, however, it is not only a joy to play, but somewhat educational too. I think it improves your use of words as well as your spelling. You also get introduced to new words as well. As a fan of Myst and more convoluted and time-robbing games this is one that I can veg out on with an hour or so to waste. It helps me relax and is not to demanding on my time. On my 733 Pentium machine with Windows Me it works wonderfully. On my home network I can play against my son and daughter in different rooms. Nice game, simple to understand, use and works well on my computer. What more could you want....

Rating: Summary: Unusable Scrabble Review: This product is terrible. It forces you to reduce the number of colors your monitor can display to 256, and then uses colors that make the text unreadable. It can not be fully installed on a hard disk making it necessary to leave the cdrom loaded whenever it is used. It is more concerned with making noise and animation than a functional game.
Rating: Summary: Very Serious Problems Review: This program has a very bad interaction with the ZoneAlarm Firewall. It disables all network activity and forced me to reinstall Windows 98 to fix it.
Rating: Summary: Only one problem Review: This scrabble game works well and is fun to play but be forwarned - the PC version only works in 256 color mode. If your PC is set to truecolor, you will have to switch color settings every time you use it.
