Summary: One star is way too much for these games!!
Review: MAKE YOURSELF A FAVOR: FORGET ABOUT THIS ONE.

Don't throw away your money like I did when I bought them separately! This is a terrible deal!

This game pack featuring the first two games of the SWAT series is not worth it.

Why? Well the original SWAT is a slow-paced game constantly interupted by bad quality videos, and simply not worth your money or time.

SWAT 2 is even worse! This is the most mediocre game I've ever seen. How about officers that try to walk thru a wall instead of around it?

Terrorist and hostages that run to the edge of the screen and dissapear no matter how many SWAT officers you have surrounding them?

There are too many hot keys that you have to memorize in order to supposedly play easier and better, but they don't do the job and is hard to remember them.

Beware! these are just a few of the many problems you will face when you try to play this game. Save those bucks, because this a terrorist threat...to your money.

I cant believe Sierra had the courage of assembling this pack without including SWAT 3. SWAT 3 is where the real SWAT series begin and the only of the 3 you should buy.

Summary: Action tactics in one, strategy tactics in another
Review: The SWAT series has always been one of my favorites. Each game in the trilogy has its own unique feel and gameplay that truly put you in the shoes of a SWAT officer/commander. Unfortunately, this special 2-pack has its downside: since Police Quest: SWAT and Police Quest: SWAT 2 are so much different, there are high chances you might like one of the games but not the other. SWAT 1 plays out in a "point-and-click" interface, where you see all of the action through the eyes of a SWAT officer in training. In this game, all of the action is seen in real-time interactive movies and picture stills, shot with real actors in real settings. On-screen clicks and movements of the mouse will decide where you go, who you interact with, and what you shoot. Gameplay is excellent, but do not expect too much freedom of movement in this one. SWAT 2 is a completely different game that fans of the first one might not enjoy, and vice versa. In the second installment of the series, you have an overhead perspective of the action, and the graphics are sprite-based and cartoonish, far from the movie graphics found in SWAT 1. The second game is much more of a strategy game in which you control each of your SWAT team members and give them various actions and tasks to complete. Combat is mostly automatic- just point on your target and the game will do the work. Fans of games such as Starcraft, Command and Conquer, Alpha Centauri, and Star Wars: Force Commander will enjoy this very much. So in the end, your enjoyment of the product will depend on whether or not you like both styles of gameplay. As for fans of 1st-person shooters like Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear, consider SWAT 3 as your primary choice.

Summary: Good graphics and intence missions.
Review: This game is perfect for those into extreme stealth and strategy. Doesnt contain the action you thought it would but is still very fun. Plenty of missions to go over and rot your lil mind out with.
