Rating: Summary: OFP Is The Best War Game Out There Right Now Review: To really know how fun Operation Flashpoint is you must play it. But to put it in words I would say that it's a mixture of a Tom Clancy game and a Medal of Honor game. The graphics are a little different, but after you play for a short time you will really enjoy them. The sound is also great- while hearing the bullets whiz by your head you will know what I mean. The controls are a bit difficult at first, but after a couple missions they are no problem, and having a bunch of choices of what you can do is nice. So if you want a very good war game that is more tactical and more realistic than Medal Of Honor, or a game not quite so strategic as Tom Clancy, then I would highly recommend this game.
Rating: Summary: When it comes to Flashpoint: Just say "Wow". Review: You know that feeling of extreme accomplishment you get when you're sitting on an Abrams watching Apaches and Cobras blow everything communist to kingdom come? If you don't, then stop reading this review and go get Operation Flashpoint. It's the most realistic war simulation I've EVER played. And boy do I love war simulators! It beats all the Medal of Honor games, those Tom Clancy games, and most other flight simulators. Think about this. You're buzzing around in your A-10 when you're shot down. But you succesfully eject. Now tell me a flight sim that allows you to continue to play after you hit the ground. As in play on the ground. There's not one. Here though, you're stuck with a wimpy little machine gun thing, and your radio. And guess what. You've got to tell the other players, that's right, REAL PEOPLE, who play as Black Ops to come save your worthless butt. And did I mention the Russian forces that you're surrounded by? Totally realistic. And you can be infantry, armored, or air, it doesn't matter. Whatever you want to do, you do it. And on a final note, I'd like to say how good it feels to be alive after your Black Hawk helicopter is shot down. While your comrades are bleeding, and the helicopters in shambles and you just sit there gripping your M-16, and you scream out: "I'm alive!". Just had to get that across.
