Rating: Summary: SWAT 3 Close Quarters Combat Review: The realism in this game is outstanding. From the Stack command all the way through to the "let'em hang". It is a fun game to play.
Rating: Summary: Excellent game, but a little bit unrealistic. Review: This game actually rocks relative to its predecessors. SWAT 3 is basically the combination of first-person shooter and strategy game. Unlike Delta Force, you don't get to shoot around very often in this game. The best part of this game is that you can command and give instructions to your teammates. They are in fact doing a great job in following your orders. You can tell them to cover you or you can tell them to breach and bang a room before you enter it. When you don't give them orders, they intelligently move and do their own actions. The second best part of this game is that the enemies and hostages are positioned at different places for everytime you play the mission. You will never know where they are, so you have to be extremely careful. This excellent feature gives you a great feeling that this game is not monotone. Graphics is second-to-none and sound effects are excellent. This game is so realistic such that if you see yourself in the mirror, your character can actually BLINK! Furthermore, if you shoot one of your teammates, the other guys are going to hunt you down and shoot you in the head. However, there are several drawbacks. The most unrealistic part is that your weapons are invincible. Secondly, windows and mirror don't break. The worst part of this game is the lack of multiplayer support. Overall, SWAT 3 is probably one of the best first-person shooter games.
Rating: Summary: S.W.A.T. 3: Close Quarters Battle Review: This game is awesome. If you have bought the first swat game that came out you will like this better. The first one sucked! In swat 3 you can do way more stuff than you could in the other ones and you have more weapons and levels. You get 2 guns, flash bang, tear gas, glow sticks, and a pocket nife and you have 4 other people with you. I think this is the best!
Rating: Summary: Swat 3 Review: This game is like the best game ever, with 16 photo-realistic missions ranging from a small houses to Large Hotels, and based on real life locations such as the LA Convention Centre and LAX Control Tower. You Rescue vip's such as presidents and billionaire businessmen. The Graphics are great and the AI is brilliant too. The game is set in 1 week in 2005 (but there are no fancy weapons etc.) for Global Peace Week when all the countries in the world sign an anti-nuclear treaty. If you like the idea of shooting everyone in site you may not like this game, you must first verify your target as if you hit a hostage of citizen the mission is over, and if you gun down the other officers for a 'laugh' they will kill you! The Interface is pretty simple with the choice of mission or career mode. It loads quickly and is very, very stable. On the downside there is no support for Multiplayer and you can't be a bad guy as you could in Swat 3. One of the best games of all time, with cutting edge AI and graphics you will feel immersed in the game so much so that when you get shot it is damn scary.
Rating: Summary: "We have an element!" Review: This game took a long time to master because it is very hard. Unlike most games, this game does not give the player any way to recharge health or save games in the middle of a level. It has no way to get extra lives, either. The only unrealistic thing in this game is that when the red or blue team goes around a corner, they turn there back to the opening they are walking into instead of leaving their backs to the walls like all police do. I would also like to point out that of course the briefings aren't one hundred percent accurate. In real life, before going into a building, the police don't know exactly how many people are in the building. Also, of course there are many buttons that do different things. Without all these buttons, the player couldn't pick up guns or tell the backup groups what to do. This is a great game, but I wouldn't recommend it for kids under fourteen. My neighbor, who was under fourteen, started shooting his back up because he thought it was funny. Anyway, this is a very realistic and fun game!
Rating: Summary: the best game ever Review: this is the best game ever it is so realistic is like you are there with the entry team it really is a must have there are also some really good cheats
Rating: Summary: BEST GAME EVER !!! Review: this is the best game I have ever played. it is set in Los angeles in 2005, and you have to rescue people like important billionare businnes men and government people. you are the swat leader and you have a team of 4 fellow swat officers. you can give orders to your 4 teammates using # 1-9. for example, you tell them to open the door, they do it. you tel them to search the room, the do it. you tell them to cover you, they do it. you also have one automatic rifle, one pistol, flashbamgs, gas bombs, glowing sticks, a pocket knife, handcuffs, and a mirror to look around corners to see if there is any suspect. you have the choice to do a career, which means missions gradually get harder and harder, or you can do a campain, which means you choose the mission you want without starting from the easyest. the AI is wonderful! the suspects are always in a different place, or one time they shoot at you and one time they surrender. the downsides, there are only 16 missions, you can't see your own weapon, and there is no multy player. in swat3 Elite Edition there are 21 missions and there is multy player, but Swat3 CQB is still a great game and everyone should have one! ...
Rating: Summary: AMAZING Review: This is the best game i own. I played this for so long that my eyes turned red and i couldn't see anything. The graphics are superb. When you play a different mission it is almost always in a different scenario or it has different objectives. The sound is great because you can hear everything that is going on. It gives you a real idea of what it might be like to be a police cop because of how much details they add to the game. THIS IS THE BEST GAME AND EVERYONE SHOULD OWN IT!
Rating: Summary: Excellent!! Review: Though this game came out in 2000,it is still very fun to play. The graphics is excellent, the sound effects also. Basically, you are a S.W.A.T. team leader, and your objectives may be anywhere from arresting suspects, rescuing hostages, finding dangerous bombs and weapons, and more. The most enjoyable part of SWAT3,is the ability to tell you 5-man team what to do,like "cover you","pick locks","clear bang and search" etc... The ability to play over LAN in a real-person team effort, with AI team players,to solve mission is a big bonus.
