Rating: Summary: Most realistic driving simulation gamesever! Review: I have only had the game for a little bit. But I know a little. You get to drive around like a real city. There are cops and all. There are stop lights too. If you get cought by a cop, you better run. Sometimes the cops are stupid. You can hide behind someones fence and the cops will lose you.
Rating: Summary: Driver Review: I thought this game was cool for PC, but if you have a Playstation it is much better. Not just the graphics but the game is funner.
Rating: Summary: Just getting started! Review: I'm just getting started but I have to say this game is great! To start the storyline you have to pass an interview that is intense and challenging. I spent all day the first day training for it and the it took me three tries to pass it. It was completely cool! The slalom was the hardest most irritating part, but that only caused me to work harder for it. I can't slalom great but I'm much better. The first time I took a drive around town, I got completely frustrated; I couldn't control the car, navigate traffic, or make a turn to save my life. The cops were relentless and easily provoked. I could not control my speed so I always [frustrated] them ... I fired up the game for the second time last night, the first thing I did was set the cops to easy. Man the control I had, I felt like I was in a movie. Weaving in & out of traffic like a pro, the cops are still tough but they are manageable, power sliding through the turns is absolutely necessary and some of the best fun I've had. If you want a challenging game that makes you feel like you are slamming the downtown streets of a high action cop show, then this is a game worth having. I'll have to update this review when I get a little further into the game.

Rating: Summary: driving lessons Review: Looking at some of the other reviews here that knock this game because of its difficulty makes me a bit mad. I found the game to be hard (the briefcase mission took me dozens of attempts) but this is what makes the game last - I still go back to it occasionally, looking for new ways to get the president home safe.Try getting to the gas station on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge, or getting back to the hideout in China Town, playing "Survival" if you want impossible. By 2003 standards this is basic on graphics, all the roads are straight-line and the game fairly linear, but it still holds its own against its modern counterparts, and can be fun, and a challenge. Bouncing around those steep "Bullett" streets in San Franscico, or trying to get to the Hospital on a rainy LA night can still get the pulse racing and the palms sweaty!
Rating: Summary: Almost like a real pursuit Review: Many racing simulations simply don't have the real thrill in themselves, because their drivers can be turned into complete beginners, which can't even sit behind the wheel. Driver is different. You have to qualify for the game and then the fun beginns. From driving around the city and getting acquainted with it up to full adrenaline challenges against the cops - over 40 missions will surely be enough for quite a while. And the police certainly isn't so stupid as it could be presumed - you'll have to give your best to outrun them. Graphics and sounds are near perfect. Oh, and DO CRASH at least once - the crashes are so nice...
Rating: Summary: Driver PC version towers over PSX Review: The graphics are stunning in this cool game from GT Interactive. Always wanted to put the pedal to the medal and run from the cops? Now you can! Some of the missions will keep you on the edge of your car and the replaybility is very good. Get this game!
Rating: Summary: The best driving game ever! Review: This game has the best physics of any driving game I've ever played - augmented by the fact that it's big-bouncy-shock physics of old 70's cars. Everyone needs to have this game (and a force-feedback steering wheel - an absolute must on this game). The funky 70's music and blurring lights really takes ya back to Shaft or Starsky & Hutch. The dirt tracks and hang-time bring to mind the good old days of Dukes of Hazzard.
