Rating: Summary: An awsome game; an awsome story Review: "Driver" is one of those rare games that comes along once every 5 or so years. A game that makes your blood rush through your veins. It seems to be consistantly interesting, as you choose where to go, and the cops react differently every time. Speeding down the wrong side of the Miami freeway at 95 mph with 3 cops right behind you is pretty darned exiting. The cars come out of no-where and you have to zone out everything else to swerve out of their way. You start to feel as though you ARE the person in the car, out-running the cops. Some of the most exiting moments in the game are when you can look behind you and see the accidents you've caused by screaming throught the city streets. This is a GREAT game.
Rating: Summary: Highly playable, highly recommended! Review: Driver is a brilliantly executed all-action racer. There are literally many routes by which one can tackle and complete each mission. The Police chases are excellent, with just the right level of difficulty for the average driving game addict. I highly recommend that you download the cheat that enables you to skip the training mission though- I found that part of the game to be extremely frustrating! Once you 'get into' this game, you won't be able to 'put it down'- guaranteed! I prefer the graphical detail of Driver to Midtown Madness, as Midtown tends to look a little too artificial at times. Driver is more of a hardcore-gamer's title than Midtown in my opinion. The 70s retro music is great and so too the in-game speech. The missions are interesting, and the night-time/early morning sky, is literally 'breath-taking'! Great atmosphere through out the game. Get this game if you love high-speed chases, and you're bored with normal racing games. I'm using a PIII 500MHz/128Mb/GeForce 2 GTS/Sound Blaster Live! Player 1024, and I've encountered no game-play problems. Incidentally, the game also runs very well on a TNT2. A spectacular game!

Rating: Summary: On Your Mark, Get Set, Go! Review: Driver is a fast-paced game with good graphics. There is no other game like it. You are the wheelman in this game, trying to escape with your gang from the police. With other modes like carnage, pusuit, and more, this game is the best!
Rating: Summary: Ho Ho Ho Ha Ha Ha Hee Hee Hee Yippee! Review: Driver is a good game, but with some annoying flaws. I will compare it directly with Midtown Madness, because the two games are very similar. Driver takes place in four generally blocky cities. MidMad takes places in a beautifully drawn Chicago. The car in driver handles exactly as you would hope, being realistic and incredibly satisfying - think cop chases from the movies. The handling in MidMad is its biggest let down - think radio control cars. The format in driver is also a little annoying - sure it has adrenaline pumping thrills, but if you crash your car even once, then the chances are your game will soon be over. It is frustrating that the cops can so easily catch you and inflict more damage on you after you've crashed. In MidMad, crashing is the most satisfying bit, it puts a grin on your face from ear to ear and keeps you coming back for more. You don't get that in driver. If only they could combine the two games utilising the realistic car physics from driver and the many different locations and add in the beautifully detailed scenary and car crashing fun of Midtown Madness, they'd have one helluva game.
Rating: Summary: It feels like making a cheesy 70s movie! Review: Driver is a very good game. The first part, where you have to prove your skills, is too tough to be the first thing you do, but once you can get past it, you have the skills to succeed. Handling is a little hairy, and takes a lot of getting used to. Your car doesn't take much damage, so you have to be very precise. The cops start off gentle, but quickly become vicious, setting up roadblocks and ramming you head-on. You have to learn how to properly avoid them. All in all, the game is really fun.

Rating: Summary: Great Game, but after a while boring! Review: I bought this game, the first 2 weeks i didn't seperate from it,but after this 2 weeks it bored. De streets are always the same. The missions and cars are good, you can hit everything and the car is after a while wrecked and so.The graphics are excellent. For people that always love to ride on the same location is this a great game. Those people must buy this game for sure. But people that want to have different locations, let the game in the store.
Rating: Summary: Pittiful Excuse for a Game Review: I got this game for ten bucks on the bargain pile. It blows it is a boring extremely hard game. I liked the movie option, graphics and real car phisics. The story was okay not great. The controls were horrible. The missions are extremely unforgiving and hard boring. The first mission took us 3 weeks to fufill. Also your stuck in the car driving around. The missions are so hard by the time you know how to beat them its just memerizing a boring path. It's not even challenging fun. It is more like boring impossible!! Also you can't see in front of you. I'm still on the first city. On the good side you can go to a option you have called take a ride which allows you to go out and wreck havac in the city and have cops chase and then turn the car chases into movies. Also there are driving games like pursuit and Getaway, carnage, surviver and time trials ect. There fun for a while you can also turn them into movies. Also I think this has much improovement from the PS1 version by far. But still this game is horrible. The story mode is by far the most hard boring and unforgiving I've ever seen. If you want a fun wide variety driving game for the PC reserve GTA3. Pros: Lot's of non story games Good Graphics Way better than PS1 version There is movie editor Real Car fisics Some might like Story Cons: Boringly Hard Story Mode Bad Controls Game is Uneccesasseraly hard Can only stay in car Huge lack of Mission Variety Large Lack of Car Variety Game gets incredably boring and hard Missions very unforgiving Probily takes at minimum 15 restarts to complete a average missions Cops will start a dangerous car chase for speeding and don't stop when you stop to them Cops to easily provoked Cops go to dangerous lenghts to get you for a minor violation. Unrealistic and Dangerous Cop AI Can't run over Padestrians So if you want a wide variety driving game where you can get out of a car and get in another and more mission variety reserve GTA3.
