Summary: CHEESY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Rotten graphics and gameplay. Do not waste your time! I was dissapointed!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Old School - But still quite entertaining
Review: The cell-shaded (cartoon-style) graphics are comical and fun. The fun gameplay and integrated cut scenes along with the sound and the music make this game a classic. You will be forever hearing taunts like "Where ARE you marshall!" rolling around in your head after you play through this game.

The Intelligence of the computer opponents is rather weak - and the game physics can be less than accurate, but the game is still lots of fun to play. For $10 or so you can have a great time with this LucasArts game - I recommend it if you have some time to kill - or have a lower-end machine that can't run some of today's graphic's intensive games.

Summary: Great Game But Old Graphics
Review: The cutsenes are great. The music is great. Although the graphics are a little old. This would be a great game for people who liked dark forces.

Summary: A True First Person Gunslinger Classic
Review: This First Person Gunslinger is a class act. Although an older game the main story line and character is as fresh today as it was when first released.

The game depicts Marshall James Anderson (looking, acting, and sounding much like Clint Eastwood's "Josey Wales,") whose mission in life is to track down his wife's lowlife killers and daughter's kidnappers -- one at a time -- and defeating them and their cohorts in an old fashioned, western showdown.

You, of course, will be Anderson. And your tools of the trade to rescue your daughter are Wild West weapons, too: .45 Colt; a scoped, .44 Henry; single and double barreled 10 gauges; gatling guns; TNT . . . making the game just plain, old fashioned spaghetti western, lead spraying fun.

Coupled with the action are various mind and strategy puzzles the player must defeat to proceed to the next level. These strategy puzzles will keep your "gears" turning -- most of which are more than a challange. Keys, oil lanterns and oil, crowbars, buckets of water, bags of gold, ammo, and badges, are among the items you must collect to advance. (It certainly sounds fun, huh? It is.) The environment -- wind and temperature -- will also have an outcome on your game. Hidden passageways and caves are popping up throughout game play, keeping the game challenging and the player always looking for the next surprise (while dodging lead.)

However, mulitiplayer makes this game habit forming. (Graphics were created with multiplayer in mind.) TONS of multiplayer sites/links are available throughout the net. Cheats, hints, upgrades and new single and mulitplayer maps are also available, ensuring future interest in Outlaws. Which brings up the true beauty of Outlaws: Simply put, it is such a fresh, well written and enjoyable game it continues to capture new, mature audiences.

The graphics and soundtrack are agreeable, created for a distinguishing "look, sound and feel" that true Outlaw junkies rave about. (After all -- it's a western. If you don't like a good western -- fuhgeddaboudit!) A good graphics card will enrich the colors but for those players who own smaller, and older PC's the game can run pretty smooth with a 120 Pent.

In short Outlaws is a real "blast" -- no pun intended. Outdated graphics? Sure. Are there newer and brighter games available? Sure. But for those middle to upper age Babyboomers (or anyone else) who shy away from the FPS slaughter sims that are industry standards, this game will be a breath of fresh air. The price is pretty hard to beat, too. It's well worth it -- trust me -- you'll love it. Big time fun, fun, fun.

Summary: A Pleasant Surprise
Review: This game is similar in quality to the other LucasArts FPS, "Jedi Knight". I bought this game at a clearance sale and I was surprised by how much fun this game is to play. If you like playing other FPSs like "Quake 2" and "Shogo" and are looking for something new, try this old game.

Summary: Fun with great music
Review: This is a fun first person shooter set in a setting usually ignored in this style of game. The best part of it is the music. I say this as someone who usually turns off the music in all the PC games he plays, because it becomes distracting and annoying after a while. This game is different in that it has a soundtrack that sounds like a 60's western. I wish I could get the CD with just the music.

The worst part about the game is that it is to short. Warning, the cut scenes in this game make not work properly on newer faster computers. On my computer all the cut scenes went by a super speed and the talking was mumbled because of it. If this doesn't bother you then get it particularly because it is cheap... since it is an older game.

Summary: Wonderful Old Game...
Review: This is a wonderful game, even after a few years of playing it it dosen't get old, the graphics may be old and only sorta 3D-ish, but the game never fails to give you a good time, the story is well amde and the game holds it up. Once your finished with the Single Player portion, On to the Multiplayer! a great wonderful and nice group or rather community of people play outlaws online. ages ranging from the very young (6yrs) to the rather elderly I've known someone who was about 65 and still to this day plays the game. Whats even better is the vast assortment of multiplayer levels available for playing online with other people ranging from deathmatches, to capture the flag, kill the fool with the chicken and a few more. The graphics may be old, and the game maybe old, but the game itself is a classic. So buy this game! It's certainly worth the 10 bucks if not more. And I'll see ya out in the world of multiplayer gaming, maybe you'll play a few multiplayer levels I've built for the game, or maybe you'll design your own, if anything enjoy the game for what it is, an old one.

But I assure you. It's worth it's weight in gold.

Summary: Hard To Quit
Review: This is one of my first forays into the world of PC Gaming and both my Wife and I have gotten a lot of enjoyment from playing this Game. There are two problems. The first is, it's extremely difficult to stop playing once you have started and of course, this is not really a problem but actually speaks highly of the games ability to keep you interested enough to continue playing. The second and most important is, there are no instructions so it's very difficult to figure out what to do in any of the levels of play. Aside from that,we are happy with it and find it very enjoyable.

Summary: Outlaws should be outlawed
Review: Well to say the least, I was very dissapointed with this "Outlaws". Maybe I am spoiled by the latyest games, but this one is awful. Bad graphics of the era prior to Duke Nukem. It is just a waste of money. It should have been removed from the supply bin years ago. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. You will be very sorry. 1 star is being generous. I removed the game after 5 minutes and tossed it into the trash.
