Rating: Summary: Garbage! Review: I live in Kuwait, which is near Iraq. The Gulf War actually happened in kuwait! So i know alot of information about it. The first time i bought the game, it was pretty much exciting. But then, i started to know that the roads in the game aren't real roads, the detail was not quite outstanding, and that the only thing you can use is a tank. I mean, after you finish all your 18 missions, you'll get bored! So bored you wished you didn't buy that game! My advice to you 13+ year old gamers is not to buy this game. It is so, so terrible that even girls wouldn't like it. In the past couple of years, i've seen 3do produce good games, but now are sending garbage through the netscape or the internet. The gadgets in the tank aren't real, the detail is not outstanding, and the missiles aren't realistic. The whole time you play that game is a waste of time. It's just like cruising in a desert with your tank, having nothing to do. Folks on the internet, please, i repeat, PLEASE do not buy this game for your children. It is boring, a waste of money, and the game will cause brain damage. I am not joking!
Rating: Summary: Seen it... Review: Some games are fun without being even remotely challenging. Gulf War is such a game. You are in control of the M12 Hammer, a super-duper Army tank sent in to win another Persian Gulf War against Saddam Hussein. Helping you get it done is the OASIS (Operational Armor Stabilization and Integration System), a sort of self-repair mechanism that allows you to replenish your armor by driving your tank into deep bodies of water (don't ask). The game plays a lot like Recoil, with the mouse controlling the free-look turret as you zip over 3D terrain and waste hordes of enemy vehicles. Again, there's nothing here you haven't seen before, but it's good clean fun for action fans.
