Summary: Very Fun Game
Review: I bought the first Unreal when it came out...I thought it would be more like doom. It turned out to be the awesome even thought it was the same concept as Doom. It was a very fun game. I decided to try the Unreal Tournament Demo....I played that for a couple weeks, then i purchased the full version. This game has very very good graphics and nice gameplay. I have an Intel Celeron Processor, 400 MHz with 96 MB of RAM and it runs fast. BUY THIS GAME YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!! ITS THE BEST FPS OUT THERE!!!!!

Summary: Works Great on Windows Me
Review: This is the one and only game I have ever written a review about. I thoroughly enjoyed playing this one. I really feel the graphics are probably the best I have seen on a first person action game. The backgrounds are incredible and the players are very detailed. All in all I love it.

Summary: You might as well just quit your job before buying it
Review: Unreal Tournament is, in my opinion, the 2nd best First Person Shooter game created so far, 1st being Half Life. There was a lot of hype surrounding this but, unlike Quake 3, it lives up to the hype. It succedes in all the places Quake 3 fails - fun weapons, interesting boards and a very intelligent AI system on the bots (just try beating the Godlike setting). And I think it even blows away Quake 3 graphics-wise, too. My only pet peeve with the game is the load time!! I have a 733 MHZ computer and it takes FOREVER. But it's still worth the wait.

Summary: A great refinement from Unreal Tournament.
Review: While other games matched it for single-player and online multiplayer deathmatch excitement, Unreal Tournament stood out as the best team-based action game of 1999. Players duel with sci-fi weapons in such diverse environments as a rocking pirate ship, an amphibious invasion in World War II, and opposing guard towers atop a wildly spinning asteroid.

Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year Edition includes 70 new maps and three new modes from which to choose. Tactical Ops is a team-play mode, based around two teams -- the elite Special Forces and terrorist groups from around the world. Tactical Ops introduces realistic weapons, maps from actual locations, and never-before-seen scenarios. Rocket Arena is classic one-on-one deathmatch combat with all the weapons at your disposal. Chaos features crazy new weapons, such as a broadsword, living proximity mines that yell at your opponent, and even a small black hole.

As for technical stuff, the network code remains the same. *sigh*

The graphics are pretty much the same in Unreal Tournament only this game uses different textures wich make it look awsome. Just make sure you got atlease 64+ mbs of RAM or this fast-paced game will be moving at SNAIL SPEED!

Summary: System Incombatibility.
Review: I use a 650 mHz Duron with a Rage 128 video card. I used Win 98 second edition. I found that Unreal Tournament & G.O.T.Y.E. crashed my system when I played. I contacted the help section on the IRC server. No help there. It still runs half the time so I know it isn't all the way bad. If anyone can help me, then please do. I suggest that unless you know that it will be compatible with your systems settings to not waste the cash. The game is great other than that. The graphics are great. Internet Gameplay is definatly the best part. I like the CTF. It is Deathmatch with a little bit more, you have to get a flag also. The other modes are fun also. If you ever want to play a quick game and you own it, just contact me at JamesPotter_9999@yahoo.com

This Game is SWEET!

Summary: This is the one!
Review: Assuming you are a fan of first-person shooters, this is the one game you must own. I've played most of the popular titles (Quake, Half-Life, Rainbow 6, etc.) and this one single handedly beats them all. I don't have as much time to play games as I used to (job, kids, etc.) so I've been searching for that one game that gives me that "quick fix". This game is easy to learn, easy to start up and have games end quickly (assuming you're short on time) and most of all, it's incredibly fun. There are three things I want to emphasize about this game. 1. It runs very well on older systems. I have a Celeron 366, 128 megs of ram and an 8 mb voodoo card. With the detail level set on medium, it runs like a dream and still looks great. 2. With all the maps, modifiers and rule variations the replay value is outstanding. 3. Contrary to what is hip and popular, I've never been a big fan of online gaming. I've done it plenty of times, but I just enjoy solitary gaming better. The AI of the bots in this game is very impressive. While not as completely unpredictable as humans can be, the bots act very human. Now I can deathmatch without dealing with the immature attitudes I always encounter online (sorry to over-generalize). At $30 (or less) this game is a steal.

Review: Fantastic game, but note that it does NOT come with Tactical Ops like this website says.
