Summary: Dominating
Review: Good visuals. Good sounds. Cool weapons with secondary fire (twice as cool). All that's missing is extra player models.

Summary: Tastes like warcow to me.
Review: This is an amazing game. The sounds are great. The visuals are great. The weapons are cool (the shock rifle rules). The bots are quite good. The one dowside that i can think of is the limited amount of player models (e.g. - Q3 has plenty o player models). Hours of fun after work and after classes.

Summary: UT GYE Rules!
Review: I sat down and played this game and was instantly hooked. The sad thing is that I don't own it... :( This is a sure buy for people who love shoot-em up network games or for people who just love to kick some a**.

Summary: This game rules!
Review: My Unreal addiction began with Unreal, a normal FPS similar to Doom, except with mindblowing graphics. After playing that game with raw fury and excitement, I found out about Unreal Tournament. It blew me away. The single player game/format is amazing, and the muti-player action is even better. I got so addicted to it that a friend and I once played it for 8 hours straight. Just recently I bought the Game of the Year addition, and found it was even better than the first. So many new weapons, including a kick [butt] sword, along with new maps and characters. It is by far my favorite game of all time.

Summary: Holy Marmalade Batman!
Review: I bought this game on a trip to my local Fry's. I didn't really expect much from it. But when I played Capure the Flag, I nearly caked my pants. This is an excellent game worthy for praise by any hardened gamer (exept those who like Quake 3- See my review of Quake 3 for Dramcast). This is the game that truely made me love the FPS genre (exept the utterly poor Quake series). By all means shell out your $... - $... and BUY THIS GAME!

Summary: Totally a Top 10er
Review: Man, This game is up there with Half-Life!. It is AWESOME. Multiplayer rocks just as much as single player! This is a MUST HAVE game for any gamer! Buy this if you are interested in hours of fun, entertainment, stratigy, and even just looking at awesome graphics!

Summary: Want a Team-Based Gaming Experience? Look no further.
Review: Make no mistake - this is it. The best overall FPS experience to be had, bar none.

What's so good about it?

1) Doesn't require much by way of system requirements. If you still have a Voodoo3 with a PII 400 or an K6-2 450, you can play this game, and do it well.

2) More online mods than you shake a modestly sized stick at. Go to Fileplanet, download to your hearts content, and you'll be busy for a very long time.

3) Many modes of game play. Capture the Flag, Assault, Team Deathmatch, Tournament Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, and Domination. I'm partial to CTF myself - Unreal excels in this area. For CTF, no other game comes close to matching Unreal's evenness and tempered play.

4) You can OWN with almost any weapon. Sniper rifles can take off heads even while you're on the run. Rockets, while powerful, are not the end-all weapon like they all in other games. Flak cannons blast flak aroun corners. There's a weapon for almost every situation, and a weapon to thwart THAT weapon as well.

5) A multitude of online servers for every game type. I'm never bored.

6) Completely unexpected modes of gameplay yields the best results. IE - there's a weapon called the "Redeemer". Comparable to a small nuclear device. Kills everything in a 200foot radius. Hard to dodge when one's thrown at you. Imagine playing Capture the Flag with nothing but Redeemers and low gravity? It's a trip, an absolute blast, more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Praise the lord and pass the redeemer.

However, players with dial-up need not apply. Your ping will simply be TOO high.

Summary: Great Game for a bargin price
Review: This game is a must buy for first person shooter fans. The graphics and sound will amaze you and the controls will never fail you. The online games are a must. This game is not called "Game of the Year Edition" for nothing, it truely deserves every bit of praise it recieves.

Summary: Now It's Just Another Shooter
Review: I don't meant to criticize the game. It has neat graphics, interesting environment, and fast-paced action. I have just outgrown this genre. When I was younger, I could still play "Doom" for hours. This game is far more advanced than "Doom." But to every season there is a turn, to every age its own.

Summary: Just as fun as Quake III: Arena with character!
Review: I admit that it isn't as fun as Quake III when it comes to deathmatch, but it's pretty damn close. The graphics are a wee-bit better in Q3A, but Q3A doesn't have much in ways of teamplay modes. If you like working on a team, get this game! If you have a monster PC with a GeForce2 (or 3 for those willing to pay $...), consider also getting Tribes 2. But back to Unreal Tournament, this will last you a while since there's a crap load of levels and modes. I have had G.O.T.Y. Edition for a little while, I just beat Quake 3 with somewhat ease (on Hardcore, heh heh), and I can just say same hasn't gone with Unreal Tournament. IN conclusion, Quake 3 is the best for deathmatch, but Unreal Tourney is best for everything else, from CTF to Assault.
