Rating: Summary: disappointing Review: gameplay is ok but controls are bad, good sounds and cinematics but it feels stiff... I expected more after the Racer game(which is cool)
Rating: Summary: My review to an ACE game Review: Hi. This, in my mind is an exellent game. It follows the plot to the film, but isn't hard to follow if you haven't seen the film. You play one of four characters- Obi-One Kanobi, Qui-Gon Gin, the Queen, and Captain Panaka. You can aquire a number of weapons, and items. I, personaly, don't mind the overhead view, but many people think it's one of the few flaws of the game (although the view can changed to a behind view, via a cheat). It's only flaw, in my opinian, is if your view is obstruced by large objects. Overall, it's a exellent game, alround!
Rating: Summary: Episode I: The Phantom Menace Review: I thought that this was definitely the BEST Star Wars game ever! The different characters, bartering (Watto's Shop), the graphics! Definitely a 5 star game. Played for hours and going strong!
Rating: Summary: One of the BEST Star Wars Games Ever Released! Review: I, personally, think that this game should have been place in the Hall of Frame for Star Wars Games. I played a lot of Star Wars games, however, I found only some that could unleashed that spirit of the movies, and Phantom Manace is included as well.I really feel that I am in the movie, the graphics & sounds are superb, second-to-none in this kind of game... the control is fine (in fact, I used a keyboard to play this one, not a joypad). However, this game is quite easy, I think it would be much be better to include more scence in the game, which will make it longer & more replay value. A word to Lucas Arts, games like this one for New Hope, Empire Strike Back and Return of the Jedi !
Rating: Summary: A good, solid game, especially for the price! Review: I too was completely amazed that Gamespot trashed this game...if you read the review, they wanted another Jedi Knight-like first-person shooter, which TPM is NOT. It is, however, a good game. Not perfect, mind you - but the first time you take out a group of Battle Droids with your lightsaber you'll go nuts. Download the demo, and if you like it, buy this game immediately! At this price, with the $10 rebate, you really can't go wrong. If you liked the movie, you'll really enjoy the game.
Rating: Summary: Want this game, you will... Review: This game is awesome! It has stunning graphics and the levels are cool. It also rocks when tou fight Darth Maul Both times. The Jedi are good characters, but I also like Panaka. This game is also very chalanging and has cool weapons. One downfall is you need a 3D card accelerator to play it. BUY THIS GAME! And, *May the Force be with you*
Rating: Summary: Very good! but it needs work. Review: This game it not just fighting ,you have to use your mind. You get to talk with characters go through mazes and even fight darth maul! I've played it 2 times. It takes 2 weeks to beat the game. I hope LucasArts makes episodes 4 5 and 6 in games. BUY IT!
Rating: Summary: A good adventure game Review: There weren't enough levels in this game and the graphics where too 2D in some parts. Other than that it's a great game. The action is great and the storyline is pretty good. However Mos Espa is too confusing and Darth Maul is too easy both times you fight him. The game also needed to stay closer to the movie. Other than that it's a great game.
Rating: Summary: It was ok in some parts, others better, but some bad Review: The game was ok, but in some parts it was to challengeing and others just to easy. When you are a jedi there should be more things to do besides swing a light saber. The force rarely does any good. The force push only knocks down little enemies and the mind trick dosent even work a lot of the time. There are to many unimportant parts that make no diffrance in the game. It needs to stay closer to the movie.
Rating: Summary: The game is great Review: Sure the game is confusing; I couldn't even figure out how to get the doors open for a long time, but isn't that the way a game is supposed to be? It is so irritating when Qui-Gon says "Have patience, Obi-Wan". That just makes me have less patience. But, I love the game even though I have only had it for one day. I just love the movie, too.
