Rating: Summary: BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY BUY Review: This is the best game! It is not a shoot-em-up as you may think. It actually requiers a lot of brains.... The voices are good in the mini-clips but not when you are playing the game. the weapons are realistic, and so are the droids. The People are pretty good graphic-wise, (except for darth maul). if it is too slow you can make it faster by changing features. That's about it, overall you should get this game.
Rating: Summary: A waste of money Review: I am disappointed with this software. 7 of ten trials to run it have frozen my system. I have a very capable computer with a an 866MHz processor, 256MB ram and 32MB Gforce nvidia AGP CARD. The game should certainly work but it always ends up frozen. All other games work wonderfully. Many times you can't even start the game as it freezes in the introduction. Take heed!
Rating: Summary: Pretty Cool Review: Let's break this down bit by bit. 1. The graphics are ok. The characters aren't realistic, yet the backgrounds, buildings and weapons look good. 2. The levels in this game are mind-boggling. Pretty difficult to complete. 3. Somethings are pretty aggrivating. Lightsabers can't cut through walls, droids aren't killed in one shot. Destroyer Droids are extermley, if not impossible, to blow up. 4. Queen Amidala is very, very, very irritating! 5. If this matters in an action game, the voice talents are, on the most part weak. A lot of the characters don't sound at all like they do in the movie. (Qui-Gon Jinn, Queen Amidala, Captain Panaka, Darth Maul) I thought that the game was fun. It was time consuming, yet fun.
Rating: Summary: buy it man ! Review: so good I can only go for short periods of time without playing it. In fact why am I still writing this!, why are you still reading this!, I better get playing it, YOU! you better get buying it.
Rating: Summary: This Game Kicks Review: I don't know what all the fuss is about! The movie Episode I is possibly the best of all 4 so far, and the game is better than a good portion of the many, many games based upon the original trilogy. You get to be 4 characters, which each have their own unique qualities. Although there are some boring parts of the game and there are some tricky spots, the game is fantastic and allows for many hours of gameplay. Lucasarts has done it again. Some people say the parts on Tatooine are so boring, but its not that bad, they have to stick to the story pretty closely, and in the movie, Tatooine isn't the best part, I mean stop trying to pick on it! IT IS A SWEET GAME (especially for the price of 20 bucks!) This game may not be as good as Jedi Knight or Shadows of the Empire, but it definately ranks close and it is a great game to add to your computer game collection.
Rating: Summary: OK Game Review: This game is ok. When I first played it I thought it was excellent, but after I borrowed it from a friend I realized how lame some parts of the game were. Playing as the queen is just bad, VERY bad. Panaka is ok, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are pretty cool because they have sabers. But the queen? Maybe someone else like Padme or even Jar Jar. The fact that the Jedi could deflect lasers blasts was great. This feature could have been awesome if Lucasarts hadn't of made it so difficult to deflect laser blasts. Another problem are the stupid droids. The battle droids sometime don't attack you when you are 3 feet away from them. Realism is another factor. In the movie, we didn't see R2-D2 until the queen left theed. In the game we see him opening doors for us on the Trade Federation Ship. Even though this game has some really messed up parts in it. There are still some good parts in it. Sound is excellent. THe duel with DM is good too. All in all, The Phantom Menace is a pretty good game if your a star wars maniac, but if your are a simple star wars fan like me it's really nothing special. Jedi Knight is better anyway.
Rating: Summary: *GET THIS GAME! Review: LIGHTS<CAMERA<ACTION! An AWESOME GAME! This game should becalled best game EVER made. 10 out of 10 in graphics, 10 in sound, 10in gameplay, 10 in storyline. This game also has 5 star Controls, and great Characters! The characters are: Qui-Gon-Jinn,Obi-Wan-Kenobi, Queen Amidala, and, Captain Panaka. I think the Jedi are the best, because they use LIGHTSABERS! But anyway, BUY THIS GAME!
Rating: Summary: Sweetness Review: Let me first say that this game kicks. Though I have onlly hade it for about 3 weeks I have only got to coresent. With diffecult levels and such makes this a must for any serious hard core gaming and starwars fan. The choice of weponry is exelnct seeing as how jedi's are not limited to only light sabers. The level texture is exelnt too. Though it can be slow running on a small computer it runs fine with a 500 mhz with a 16 mb video card(no accelerator) and 64 mb of ram, along with the 60 frames persecond code(60fps). Along with codes like "I like to cheat" "heal it up" and "iamobi, iamquigon, iampanaka, iamqueen" to altrenate charaters. This is an exelent game .
Rating: Summary: Pretty cool game Review: When I first got into this game, I would play it for hours, and over and over again. I was addicted. The best characters would be Obi Wan Kenobi and Qui Gon Jinn. I wish you could play as Darth Maul. The levels are all good, but fairly easy. However, the ability to slice at things with your lightsaber makes up for this. All in all, Star Wars Episode 1 is a good game. It's even more complete than the movie, but then again that's not necessarily saying a lot...
Rating: Summary: awesome game Review: This game is sooooo awsome. I have only played the demo and i want it. i would recommend this game to anyboy wh liked the movie and to anybody else.
