Summary: Multiplayer is strength of game!!!
Review: DF2 is pretty primitive as detail, graphics and AI go. Really, quite lagging behind plenty of other entrants in the FPS arena. Missions are relatively simple and straightforward and most accomplished gamers will breeze through the single player missions and campaigns no problem. The fun begins on Novalogics' internet site for multiplayer...day and night, a smorgasbord of games to enter, custom designed maps being played on- quite addictive!! I own RTCW, Op Flashpoint, Medal of Honor and plenty of other "latest" games but raw ol' DF2 is still the game in my system at 2AM, letting me snipe some fella playing in the Netherlands...it's a hoot!!! Simply put, load it, play it, dial up and your playin against 16 other junkies. Love it!!

Summary: Interactive Fun Fun Fun
Review: This company has a site on the Net where you can play other teams/players. Just like when I was a young kid (wife thinks I still am)the local guys would get together and play war. Now we still can, with great graphics, great games on line. Online War games very and are not mastered by a few, making it fun for the new players well as expert players.

Summary: Standard-setting thinking shooter
Review: DF2 is probably the banner game for thinking shooters, it's a real shame that DF - Land Warrior was continued into the "multi-character" dimension, because that really isn't the path of the best growth for the game. The Voxelspace engine works fine, but it is definitely pixelated, I highly recommend setting binoculars on a quick button, so that you can tuck down and get a good long view. The weapon selection is ample, I've never used some of them, and I've completed the whole game. This game isn't about just shooting... there are missions where the best thing you can do is stay quiet and stay stealthy. The AI is not as good as it could be, and some of the features (capturing enemy weapons) are advertised, but none of the missions include them. This game and DF1, with some tweaks in AI, and picture quality, could really be top-notch games. All in all, a good solid thinking shooter. I play again and again. btw - in reference to the "cheaters and lag" of another reviewer... The lag you can get over by aiming ahead of your enemies, and there are multiplayer rooms that boot cheaters.

Summary: This game rocks!!!!!!
Review: I would sugjest tha you buy this game because it has the coolest graphics. It is cool when you use cheats because you can go up in guys faces and kill them. My favorite cheat is "still life" when you type in this code you will turn invinceble. It is cool because you can pick what ever level you would like to start on. You don't have to start on level one and go up. If you are looking for a game with action and violence you should buy delta force 2.

Summary: Umm, wtf
Review: (. . .) The graphics are less than mediocre, internet play is nearly impossible with the lag. Plus there are so many cheaters, it makes it horrible. Plus if you have pre- Pentium 3, you'll encounter this uncontrollable error that you can only fix by Disabling NETBIOS. The other opinions are probably from people paid by Novalogic. Bottom Line- Don't buy this, buy something half-decent like Rainbow-Six, or R6-Rogue Spear. Hope this honesty helps.

Summary: A Good Game For Some
Review: I like this game.In fact I go in cycles when occassionally I will sit down and play it online for hours. It has some flaws. If you want high resoloution Quake 3 type graphics and just a regular first person shooter this is not for you. This game sacrifices good graphics for great gameplay. Its graphics do some interesting things no Quake game ever can.For example you have fields and you can see each individual blade of grass and hide in the grass as in real life. You do not run around jumping over rockets and being shot hundreds of times by robots and live I tell you that much. You can die in one hit just like real life. The kevlar vest you can use on this game saves you alot of the times. You have a complete and open environment. One thing that disappointed me is when I first saw it it said new weapons and I loved Delta Force One and wanted to see what sort of amazing weapons they had for us this time.None really, you get another M4 with a shotgun mounted instead of grenade launcher. Now in real life these shotgun attachments are basically for blasting down locked doors,in this game you will go into rooms with locked doors but you can not open them or blast them down.In the instruction manual it even specified the shotgun was for removing doors.Well that is what I expected but did not get it.You get an underwater assault rifle and pistol, these are basically useless.I expected they would have some primarily water mission that would make use of the new diving suit and underwater weapons. The underwater weapons are not that good on single player and dont even try them on multi player! The fun on this game lies in its multiplayer mode.Huge battles against other people. The only thing dislikeable is that almost everyone uses the M249 SAW on multiplayer so you stand little chance with the other weapons. You can do fairly well with the M4 on multiplayer but still its best to just get the SAW.So if you want a first person shooter with abit more realism you may like this.

Summary: DF2 from a military perspective
Review: Being an ex soldier, I say that this game is more realistic, than operation flashpoint. #1- in df2 you don't have to shoot like hell in order to kill the enemy,#2 in df2 you are not going to charge in to the enemy like a fool, unless you are ready to commit suicide, you can use air strikes on a tank. I do believe it would be suicide to move in on a tank with satchel charges, if that tank is fully operational. I believe a tank can be laser targeted. So all in all think about it. Operation flashpoint is a good game, but some rough edges need to be smoothen out. Real soldiers would not commit themselves to such danger, and would not be asked to do so.

Summary: Frustrating, but fun and worth it
Review: My name's Kevin, and I'm nine and do know my video games- this game is fun, frustrating at times but also nerve wracking and intense. I really like the Operation cold Storage missions, especially the airfield ones. I really recommend it and spend hours playing it.

Summary: DELTA FARCE
Review: Delta Force II is just the second game in a series that prides itself in offering gamers the "realistic" experience of being a modern-day soldier. You won't find any BFG's or laser guns, just like you won't find aliens and monsters. I've only played the demo, but that is all the game is worth, I'm afraid. There is a severe AI imbalance in this game. Your enemies have little to no problem at all hitting you from a distance, yet when you're right in their face, they don't seem to see you for a few seconds. You would think it would be the other way around. Next, the graphics. Delta Force II uses voxels, which are 3D pixels, as I understand it. Although that sounds as if it would graphically boost the game, it really does not. Up close, the graphics are pretty standard fare. But enemies a couple hundred yards away appear as grey or green rectangles standing on end. Insert that enemy into a grassy field of almost the same color, and you'll find that he's nearly impossible to spot at such a distance. Many times you'll find yourself 6 inches away from the computer monitor, eyes squinting. The one demo mission that DF 2 has is not very impressive. Parachute down among your enemies, take them out, bomb the building, get on the helicopter. And there are no alternative ways of completing your mission. Although the terrain stretches on forever, allowing you to take a position on a very far away hill to snipe from, it doesn't add much to the game. Most depressing is going out of your way so you WON'T be seen, only to be impossibly killed by one of the enemies. But the redeeming value of the game is in its multiplayer. Even with a demo, you'll find at least 5 different games going on 24 7. If you do decide to buy this game, don't worry about people losing interest in its multiplayer mode. It's a pity that Delta Force is the farce that it is. But if you want to play a REALLY IMPRESSIVE modern-day military shooter, I suggest you try OPERATION FLASHPOINT.
