Summary: DF2 (Unrealistic, corny, and just plain dumb.)
Review: Okay. Some people (Like 10 and 12 year olds) think this game is sooo cool. This game so very unrealitic. Infact, everything about this game is stupid. The weapons are okay, but when you fire, there is no recoil that makes you reticule (The cross thingy that helps you aim) go up and down. Also, 1 shot from any gun kills an enemy (Which is pathetic) so why put your M4A1 rifle on burst? Just use single shot to conserve ammo. The games graffics are as [bad] and the screams that the enemies make when you shoot them are corny and cartoony. I suggest that you do not buy this game because of the reasons listed above. Please, save your money and buy a better game like Counter-Strike (The best game ever made) Half-Life (The second best) or Rainbow Six: Raven Shield (The third best) If you are looking for realism, DO NOT look here at this game. Its pathetic.

Review: This game is very fun on-line. It would be worth it just to buy this for on-line playing. The single player is fun too. you have full control over your gear. Get This Game.

Summary: Very good first person action game!
Review: When i first tried this i was impressed with some of the effects, realism and overall gameplay. Unfortantly there isnt a huge variety of weapons. But the gear rules! I recomend starting with the quick missions before going to a full campainge since it seems like the difficulty level rises alot. Many of the missions include hostage rescue, intercept convoy and destroy it, eliminate hostile forces, infiltrate enemy base, caapture people stuff like that. FOr many of the missions you can play as a sniper since there are 2 nice sniper rifles int he game but its not always possible. I find it difficult to go down latters/stairways since it always seems to lump but i believe a small update fixes that. Graphics are well done and some of the things you can do are cool like blow off the top of trees and try to crush bad guys. One of my fav effects are that you have good guys known as alpha and charlie teams that talk on a radio.
I never liked first person shooter games untill i got this so give it a try

Summary: Some good parts, but overall unimpressed
Review: I picked up this game and I am not particularly impressed. The only real improvements to the game are the additions of rain/snow, bogs, and more fiery explosions than the first DF. Still, it remains unexciting.There is no end mission body count and aftermath reading like there was in the first DF; you just get put back on the map when you beat a mission. Furthermore, if you win the campaign, you simply win the campaign. There aren't even any messages letting you know you beat it. Also, there is a horrible shortage of missions. When I found out about the new underwater assault rifle and pistol in this game, I was excited and prepared myself for some Navy SEAL-type missions. However, there are no missions that require the use of these weapons, and likewise there are also no missions that require the use of the underwater rebreather. Just as well, there are no missions that require the use of the video camera (I don't know why they added this one, it's no substitute for extra ammo or a Kevlar vest). There are some good features added, such as the ability to blow up tents and watch the smoke billow from them, but this didn't really save the game. It needs more missions and it shouldn't add unnecessary gear to really be worthy of more stars.

Summary: The best game I have ever played......NOT !
Review: Get it through your head THIS GAME stinks First of all the graphics suck,boring gameplay(I usually like realistic military games), coudn't acess campaign, takes forever to install.I would give this game 0 stars. I just bought it about 1 hour ago played it for 15 min. and then got bored... Try the Unreal series , half life or rainbow 6

Summary: Why this isn't so bad of a game
Review: If you buy Delta Force 2 as a realistic war game, you will be more than disapointed. There are many things wrong with the game, like being able to see a body lying on the floor above you. Also, the most annoying glitch is that enemies can often shoot you through solid objects. Now that most of the bad stuff is out of the way, this is still an enjoyable game, as long as your not a tech freak who moans about every little thing not real. The single player in Delta Force 2 is for the most part enjoyable. The AI is rather stupid, so instead of hard AI you get lots ans lots of stupid AI. But, it is still good fun that strays away from the standard shoot anything that moves approach. There are many missions that you need to proceed unnoticed for a good amount of time. Also, if you try to run into an enemy base and kill things, you will die. You need to be able to snipe from a distance. In the startup menu, you can select quick missions. These are about 20 unrelated missions that you dont need to play lengthy campaighns to get to. Now for the best part of this game and the reason you should buy it, the multiplayer. The Multiplayer is very good, with standard type games like deathmatch, team deathmacth, king of the hill, and several more. You can play LAN or via Novaworld. Novaworld is very reliable and most games run smoothly. Multiplayer takes away stupid AI and gives you a difficult challenge. Multiplayer maps give benifits to all types of players by providing sniper nest, bunkers, buildings, and mounted weponry. Muliplayer is really a fun experience. Delta Force 2 is a good game overall. The glitches that occur are ones that look bad visually, but i haven't had any gameplay errors at all. If you freak out about small things, you probably wont like this game, but for the rest of us, this is a great game and is worth buying.

Review: ROCKS!ROCKS!ROCKS!One of the best ways to spend your money. By far it must be one of the best shooters ever, it has the best multiplayer action, there is a MissionEditor, and the best thing of all is all the levels there are. This is one to get now! NOTE:This is my time reviewing a game.

Summary: I like this game......
Review: I have gone backwards in my delta force experience having bought DF#-landwarrior first and then buying up the first two just to have more missions to play. It is certainly been worth it! All the delta force games take place out doors which makes them different. It's realistic action were you have to snipe your way around the perimeter to make your way into a camp to complete your mission objective. Of the three delta force games i own i think df2 has the most original and interesting missions. You like missions? Well in this game you get over 40 of them! I wish rainbow six would give you that many. These missions are part of two campaigns that form a certain story line or you can play them as "quick missions" in any order on your own. Many of those missions are also available in multiplayer so you can play coop with a buddy. The missions take place in a variety of weather conditions day and night and the challenge is being able to take out all the terrorists because that one guy you missed will take you out and remember one shot kills! Sure you can respawn but that just means starting the mission all over again from the beginning. That is the challenge in delta force the sheer number of combatants you need to take out and the large area in which they use. For example in one of my favorite missions there is a downed pilot hiding in this snowy wilderness. To fly him out safely you need to take out a camp containing at least 25 of the enemy and destroy three SAMs. Getting most of the terrorist scum is easy as you just take a position up top and start picking them off but it's hard to get them all and some are out where you can't see them easily. So patience is key because as soon as you leave your cover somebody will get you. It took me a while to complete that mission and twice i was 99% finished just having blown up the SAMs only to get sniped. You don't have a huge number of weapons to choose from but what you have is fantastic and you'll find yourself using one of the sniper rifles or the M4 machine gun which has a grenade launcher. You won't use your hand gun much and you have the choice of delayed or frag grenades. Satchels are available for blowing up large things like those SAM sites and you can use extra ammo or a vest as one of your options. Because methodical, longer range warfare is the order you have a really nice alternative to games like rainbow and half life were most of your action is confined to a small space. It's the pace of the game that i really like and it's a blast to pick off some terrorist from 300 meters away. The multiplayer is a whole new ball game because you're going to have quite a few people trying to get you. The last time i played at nova world there were 900 people in there so you never have to wait for some action. You can play deathmatch where every man is for himself or team death match. Capture the flag is a blast. You really can never tire of this game! Drawbacks? Well the graphics are not an improvement over delta force one though they are pretty cool. You do need to update the game all the way because there are a few problems that needed to be fixed and you'll want to maximize your resolution. The game can be just a bit choopy and sluggish at times which brings me to why i only have a 4* rating. In all the delta force games you are placed in an outdoor enviroment that is enormous. Often you will have to run for a minute or two just to engage the enemy or reach their camp. In all these games you feel like you are spending too much time running around and that is especially a problem in multiplyer were you run for ever only to get killed and have to go back to where you were . DF3-landwarrior remedies this problem a little by making the characters run faster but in this game you seem to plod along at a slow pace. That's especially true when running up and down steep mountains. Over all delta force2 is a fantastic realistic shooter with unique characteristics. It's a great compliment to some of the other great games out there. I own rainbow 6 and rouge spear and this makes a nice alternative. Certainly the price is right. [....]

Summary: Good game, but Short
Review: I really enjoyed this game but it was over before I could really enjoy it. Very limited number of missions in the storyline and the individula missions are the same as the story.

Review: Holy potatoes, this game is so good i can stop playing it for the rest of my life very fun indeed yes sir i think if someone wants a game to play for hour this is the one. Some nights i cant sleep so i just play and play and play this game all night sometimes for days at a time you cant beat it you can pretend your a special operations sniper on a mission for world dominance or just pretend you are a army guy with the guns and the grace. Buy this game or be bored forever
