Summary: In all a good game
Review: This is a good game, but it will get boring soon for serious gamers. After you beat the missions a couple times, and know them all pretty well, the instant action part isn't enough to continue playing without getting bored. I finished both the Wolf and Jade Falcon missions in like three days on both easy and medium. After that I was so bored of them that I didn't even attempt them on hard, and I tried the Trials of Greivance. There aren't enough maps to really enjoy yourself, and with the only objective being to destroy the enemy, you never really get envolved in them enough.
The graphics could have been considered good when the game was made, but compared to today's tech it isn't that good. The terrain doesn't have enough variables, and the 'mechs are a bit chunky, but besides the afore mentioned conns, I have nothing to complain about.
I recommend that any begginers start with the Wolf missions because the trials are easier, and they are the eventual victors of the games major conflict. I started with the Jade Falcon campaign, and was majorly disappointed when I didn't get to conquer the inner sphere, or even beat the guardians at all.
I also recommend that everyone who plays this game read the outcome of the missions, because it tells some of the storyline, and gives you an idea of what your fighting for. I also recommend reading the entire archive. It gives you an even better idea of what the storyline is. Also pay close attention to each clans intro video.
Mostly I've mentioned the conns of this game, but they are things that you don't notice hardly at all when you play, so definatly, if this game is availible then grab it before it goes out of stock again. I got lucky and got my copy from a friend. This game is a definate keeper!

Summary: The best MechWarrior ever
Review: This was THE first game I ever got for my computer. I was only 10 at the time, but it sucked me in and I could not stop playing it. I wish I could play it again, but my new computer won't let me install it for some reason. A classic game, one of the best. The storyline is amazing, even without speech and many videos. The Mechlab was great, it had such a variety of weapons to choose from and all of the classic Mechs. And the graphics were to drool for at the time. They are considered very polygonial now, but at the time they were great.

One of my favorite games of all time.

Summary: The Stink Bomb
Review: when i got my computer (finally) this was one of the first games i got. in fact, it may have been THE first game i got. The game had been out for a while already, so I actually bought the 'Titanium Trilogy' version, a bundle of MW2 and it's too expansions, 'Ghost Bear Legacy' and 'Mercs.' The Titanium version was fairly new at the time.

I must say that it remains one of the most played games I ever owned. If you are new to the Mechwarrior universe, this is a must-have game. But sadly, if you have played MW3 already, it becomes hard to settle for this game again. I still play it sometimes just for the storyline, but the graphics and play control are second-rate compared to it's sequel, MW3.
