Rating: Summary: If it's even close! Review: If Lucasarts even comes close to the mark on this one it will be a hit! Anyone who has ventured into the online action of PC gaming can reaffirm that Jedi II was it. With guns, sabers, and mines a player could actually use a bit of their smarts to play even if they weren't the most gifted player with the joystick. The numereous add on levels and mods should speak for themselves. My question is this...what the heck took these guys so long to figure it out? Hopefully, at least one of them has visited a gaming room online? Pre-order. I did! Heppeh
Rating: Summary: Say what?? Review: (...) Ask anyone that plays PC Games, and they will tell you that Jedi Knight was a revolution when it hit the shelves. It was the first game to boast such expansive levels, and along with the Star Wars license, the game was awesome. People still play that game, and with all the usermade mods/skins/levels you can clearly see that Jedi Knight was an awesome game. Now getting to Jedi Outcast, I do agree with you that the Quake 3 engine is not the best, but DAMN (am I allowed to say that) it looks GOOD! Its not Doom 3, but have you seen any clips for Jedi Outcast? The game is gonna be awesome, and it better be because Lucasarts knows that this is their last chance to please the PC market. Either way guys, this game is gonna be great, I mean its Star Wars, done be a team that knows what they're doing. Raven is that team by the way (...)
Rating: Summary: How Good Games Go Bad Review: I have played the first jedi knight, and I thought that it was freakishly horrific. You other people don't have a clue what you are talking about, but I do. I have the PC Gamer magazine that talks about this game, and it looked pretty bad to me. Plus, I don't like the way Raven makes the game: it makes them (...), just like Elite Force. The Quake III engine is just as bad as everything else, so I am not too happy about the release of this game!
Rating: Summary: Jedi Knight II Outcast Review: ...Raven Software is the company making this great game, with old multiplayer levels, returning force powers and Kyle Katarn!! Personally I think Mysteries of the sith was not that good, but Raven won't screw up with this one, and did you notice the graphics from Dark Forces II? Now it'll have sweeter graphics using the Quake III engine. (See PCGamer mag.)I am willing to pay even $50$ for this game!! Just buy it. Reserve the copy because it'll probably be out in Electronics stores. shelves
Rating: Summary: I CAN'T WAIT!! Review: Have you ever wondered what It would be like to slice off the arm of a storm trooper? How about using the force to shove people out of the way. Have you ever wanted to have a lightsaber zoom into your hand? Well if you have, then this game is for you. It has all of those things plus OH so much more. Get ready for the greatest game of 2002!!
Rating: Summary: Sweet!!! Review: I have Star Wars Episode1 the Phantom Menace and it's fun and has good graphics, but compared to this those are not even graphics. I can't wait for it to come out I am going to get the first day it comes out but if I were you I would not preorder it by the time it comes out the price will probally be a little bit lower. But in any case if your a grown up once it comes out go get it if your a kid go beg your parents to get it for you.
Rating: Summary: The Saga Continues Review: The original Jedi Knight (along with the Mysteries of the Sith expansion/addition) have been nothing short of spectacular and are still very popular with gamers even though they are already several years old. Jedi Outcast has enhanced graphics and gameplay which will make it that much better than the original Jedi Knight. I definitely recommend this product to any Star Wars fan or gamer.
Rating: Summary: Must Have it! Review: If you don't think JKII will kick tail then you must be out of your mind!. Were else could u feel the power of the lightsaber and the pleasure to kill a Dark Jedi and blow those stormtrooper's head off!. This is a game you must have! Go and pre-order it now!!!! Hurry!!! Hurry!!! push the button!!!!...go!
Rating: Summary: I Want It Review: Three words, I WANT IT. I played Jedi Knight and I loved it. There was just one problem with it. The graphics were horrible. I saw some screen shots of the gameplay and noticed that the graphics were even better than Force Commander. I Want It!
Rating: Summary: The Saga Continues Review: Kyle Katarn quickly became my favorite character in the gaming world. In "Dark Forces", the first of the series, you really only begin to learn the basic brute skills of fighting. You also learn several mind skills, not powers, but necessary exercises to prepare you for the coming hazards in the next challenge. "Dark forces II: Jedi Knight", brought in a new level of graphics and a whole bunch of new worlds to explore. Jedi force powers make dog meat out of the villains. A new darkness arises, and Kyle Katarn destroys one Dark Jedi at a time, until he finally bring's a new balance to the force. Also you learn the tragic and mystical nature of Kyle's past. In "Mysteries of the Syth", you meet a new character named Mara Jade, Kyle Katarns Apprentice in training. What seperates this game from the others in skill, is the awesome long-distance sniper scope attatched to your quick fire storm pistol... This new addition to the series, Outcast, will develope Kyle's skills. With Familiar, and new world's and the ability to ride the line, using both light and dark skills, it will no doubt be a blast from the old briar pistol. But, will the graphics surpass Alice? I personally shout out the challenge to the design crew. (The five stars were given only in hope!) It was reported at several websites that the critical viewers were stunned with the new graphics that they saw at Lucas Art's game display expo. They say it stole the show, even though there were higher anticipated games on display. It's a great sign. ~SAOS~
