Summary: It is a good one!
Review: Although the graphics sort of look crappy, Swat 2 is a very fun game. I like the ability to be the terrorists. This game also has a very good plot. If you have Swat 1, buy this game. #2 has a lot more gameplay.Anyway this is totally different. The weapons are good, you control a whole squad and you can kidnap everyone you see in terrorist mode. Buy this game, you won't regret it!

Summary: A real SWAT officers review
Review: I bought this game because i just wanted something that reflects on my work. I usually dont play video games so i was origionally planing on just buying it for my neice so she could see kind of what i do for a living. When i installed it into the computer i decided to play it a bit to see if it was what i really do. Well let me tell you this, i dont think it could get any more realistic. My neice is 14 and she plays it whenever she is at my house....she never really understood what i did for a living and now that she has played this game i think it pretty much summed it up for her.

Summary: good, but it could be better
Review: i thought it was a pretty good game, but it could be better. the slow mode is not quite slow enough. the interface was somewhat slow. a lot of little... bugs. like being able to talk through walls. the the interface was too complex. there are too many commands to remember and to toggle through in combat. the units are hard to distinguish between in combat. there is not much exciting action on the LAPD side. the terrorist side is somewhat hard to play and seems to be unevenly matched aginst the LAPD AI. when you fail a mission, it wont tell you what you did wrong or didnt do. so when you replay it over and over and over again, it just gets boring. the last missions for both sides are very hard. i cant beat the last swat mission, even if i dont loose any men and still able to accomplish the objective.

Summary: A terrorist threat...to your money
Review: If you're thinking about buying this game, make yourself a favor, and don't do it. Save those bucks in your piggy bank or spend them on anything else. Trust me, I own this game and I've unsuccesfully tried to trade it or sell it. Why? read Jamie's comments for a start. Want more? How about officers that try to walk thru a wall instead of around it? Terrorist and hostages that run to the edge of the screen and dissapear no matter how many swat officers you have surrounding them? There are too many hot keys that you have to memorize in order to supposedly play easier and better, but they don't do the job and is hard to remember them. Beware! these are just a few of the many problems you will face when you try to play this game. And save those bucks, because the only terrorist threat that this game poses is to your money

Summary: Swat 2 could have used a little more polishing
Review: Swat 2 is a good follow up tp Police Quest Swat although it does have a very different feel. Just let me start off by saying this is not an action game. It is a Command and Conquer style game, without all the kiling. I didn't enjoy this game as much as I thought I would. You command a LAPD Swat squad. You control what you need to buy for your squad, and you must limit how much you buy, because funds are limited. The graphic side of the game is poor. The characters are small and hard to tell apart from the terrorists. The game does allow you to take control of the terrorists, but that part of the game doesn't seemed polished, and plays like they just threw it together. The game is very challenging, and you might become a little frusterated when you have to keep doing the same mission over and over again and don't exactly know what you did wrong. The game is not horrible though, if you liked the Command and Conquer series and enjoy cop games you will probably enjoy this game.

Summary: Swat 2 an o-kay game
Review: Swat 2 was an ok game. You can't tell if the police are terrorists or not. The graphics aren't that good either. I would deafintly not consider getting this game, and the scenerios aren't that great either.

Summary: The Greatness of it all!
Review: SWAT2 is sweet! It should be honored as the best game on the whole entire planet. Those who do not bow before the power of SWAT2 will surely be struck down by several lightnin... never mind that. If you dont like this game, oh well, i cant help that. But anyway, as I was saying, this is wonderful and I must say that it is easily the best game that I have ever seen. Such versatility! Play as either LAPD or the terrorists! Can you do that in SWAT3? I dont think so (although I may be wrong and if I am then go buy yourself a new hat). But you get the picture, this is a great game.

Summary: Classic introductions but fails in gameplay
Review: This follow up of Swat is more entertainment at first sight and the decision for the player to either choose the swats or the terrorists is also new . But the gameplay is really slow and lacking realisme .

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Good Game but Could be alot better
Review: This game was fun but probably not as game worth investing in. For what I hear about swat3 it is alot better.
