Rating: Summary: We must save the queen Review: Besides it being rather sort, this game is great. Even better if your a starwars fan.The graphics are amazing, you seriously feel like your flying over Naboo. I wish I could have got out and walked.
Rating: Summary: Good but Short Review: First off, this game is great. It has fun and unique missions, easy controls (if you learn them), good graphics, but unfortunately, its very short. I got this game 4 days ago and beat it this morning. The levels are fairly easy, but fun. Try the game on hard, easy will leave you wanting more at the end.
Rating: Summary: Ugh Review: Godawful. Hokey, naturally - that's forgivable. But I found this game extremely annoying from the beginning. As rudimentary as the game's menu system is, they still managed to make it obnoxious and unintuitive. But the big sin is that there is absolutely no option to configure the controls. This might be acceptable if the controls made any modicum of sense, but they don't. Down goes up, up goes down, etc. - you can't control it. Nitwit programming. Also, as is typical of this sort of quality game, your ship has no inertia, no feeling of real flying. The propeller heads at Secret Level (the actual maker of the game), understand neither good interface design, good controls, nor even reasonable physics. ...
Rating: Summary: unsatisfied Review: here is a game that had potential , but dont waste your money. The controls are horrible and unresponsive and the training levels seem to last forever. Not much pay-off in thisgame for all the patience it requires. Do yourself a favor and get jedi knight 2 jedi outcast.
Rating: Summary: Why all the bad press? You CAN control the speed. Review: I am so glad I bought this game in spite of all the bad reveiws I read. Same with downloading the demo. If you take the time to learn the controls (only a few minutes) you can control the speed quite well with boost or brake bottons. I use the Cyborg 3D gold joystick which I also like. The first mission alone flying through the canyons is great. Also there are bonus missions you can fly after completing only a few levels. Bottom line, This game has great new sound effects, and is visually better than previous Star Wars games like X-wing. Alliance. So is [money] too much? Listen, if you are like me you like Star Wars' first class effects and simple gameplay. The idea is to have fun not get overly stressed out. I buy the games so they will keep on pushing the envelope and make better and better games. I liked Rogue Squadron, and it's been exactly one year since I bought Battle for Naboo which I also like. Don't hesitate to buy from Amazon.com either if you want. I would rate the game 4 stars if there were no other ratings published but I gave it 5 stars because I think the game deserves better than it has received from other reveiwers.
Rating: Summary: Does not live up to the Lucas Arts Reputation... Review: I bought the game at Walmart for 9.99. I've always been a fan of Star Wars and Lucas Arts and decided to buy it. It wasn't a mistake, but it certainly isn't the best game ever. GOOD THINGS The sound effects were absolutely incredible (It's a trademark of Lucas). The graphics were relatively good! The game play was a perfect level of difficulty. BAD POINTS Can you say S-H-O-R-T? It was only like ten levels. I beat it in about four days. The story line was kind of weak. The ships kept changing and you had no control over which one you flew. All in all, I don't suggest buying this game. It's fun, but there are other Star Wars games that are better.

Rating: Summary: boring.... Review: i don't buy may games, just ones dealing with star wars. i know it says star wars on the the box, but i felt like i was playing any generic space-based video game. don't get this if you want a star wars experience.
Rating: Summary: Great new entry in the Star Wars combat sim category! Review: If you loved Rogue Squadron but were disappointed by Battle for Naboo, you'll enjoy this title. You fly three great ships from the Phantom Menace era, plus Lucasarts has continued their excellent tradition of offering bonus missions and craft. The graphics in this game are generally very good, with explosions and effects that are much better than Battle for Naboo (however, those with high standards will notice that some explosions, particularly on the surface missions, look decidedly less realistic than the ones in space). Still, you'll enjoy the speed and power of these ships, although the joystick implementation could have been better (for example, you can't control your speed with the throttle and I am constantly correcting for roll). The cutscenes and game immersion elements are superb, as is the voice acting and general continuity with the Star Wars universe. Although it's not a long game, it's well worth it considering the extras. (Another note: the strategy guide that has been published for this title is for the PS2 version. I don't know if the cheat codes work with the PC version).
Rating: Summary: great graphics Review: it is an alright but incredibly short game of about 10-15 levels. there however is flawless graphics and gameplay. the storyline is ok but could be better, only reccommended for diehard Star Wars fans like me
