Rating: Summary: Awsome....asuming you can edit files Review: This is a great game no matter what. The graphics are great and the moves and levels are some of the best i have ever seen. The keys ARE a problem but can be altered. In the program file there is a text document titled "Key Config" so there you go. Enjoy a fun thrilling ride in this great Action/Adventure game.
Rating: Summary: good enough for me Review: Well, the graphics are decent, and the gameplay is great. Since when I play a game the thing I notice the most is the gameplay, I really enjoy this game, lot's of moves, combos and stuff which are fairly easy to pull of. The gun's are cool, although you will probably find fighting hand to hand much more fun. My problem, as most have said, is the press switch, open door routine. I don't have much of a problem with the save scheme, since I find that I enjoy a game the most when I run through, risking it all and not saving before every door I'm going through.I don't know what people talk about when they say it is hard to use the the weapons. I find it pretty simple. Move the mouse over the bad guy, press the left mouse buton, and.... that's it. Well, those were my two cents.
Rating: Summary: Ridiculous Review: This game is has many things wrong with it. First of all, the controls are some of the worst that I have ever seen. There is no smooth movement in Oni. It is very choppy, making it hard to control your character. Second, the camera angles are horrific: there are parts were the camera decides to zoom and unzoom, especially when fighting and it makes it very hard to see who you are fighting. The graphics are halfway decent but nothing worth looking at. The best thing about this game is that I kept the receipt.
Rating: Summary: Great Yet Not So Great Review: This game is great, the main character can do lots of cool moves, it's storyline is pretty good, and it has good graphics (assuming you have a good video card and computer). Some magazines that reviewed this game for PS2 said it wasn't at all good because there were too many moves and it couldn't fit onto a controller. But the computer version is worth it, since you can use a keyboard, it is much easier to do the moves. But if you don't have a fast computer and/or a good graphics card, some parts can get laggy. This game was definetly worth it for me!
Rating: Summary: a must-have for anime fans Review: ...This game is great! the graphics are sweet, control system is unparalleled, levels are awesome, and you dont even need the cd in your computer to play it!!! if the reason i like this game so much is not the graphics, control, story, characters, or feel. it's the allure of anime, i'm an avid anime fan... and to me this game is a messiah, now, for once, I... ME... can be the anime character!!! do not think twice about purchasing this game, especially if you love japaneese animation.
Rating: Summary: Oni is a decent game Review: I absolutely love Oni in the respect that it is a great action game and that it is in 3d with an great storyline. The downsides are very important such as the fact that you cannot save the game!! It has an auto save, but when your close to beating the level you dont want to start way back and do the whole thing over again!! The last and least thing is the fact that you cannot configure your buttons. The game puts all the buttons within your reach but some people like using the up, down, right ,left arrows instead of wasd.
Rating: Summary: This one surprised me Review: I have just finished playing NOLF, and this was a wild change. Getting in up and close is way cool. When you go back to the other games you feel like you are hamstrung. Its takes a bot of learning, but soon, which surprised me, I was doing some amazing moves with ease. Some complain about the utalitarian terrain, but for such a fast game I think it is a necessity. Now...this game is the first game in 20 years of gaming that a resorted to cheating. The cheat Elderscroll allows you to regenerate slowly. I thought this was acceptable to counter the inability to save. Five thumbs up. And a backflip. And a round the house kick...go for it.
Rating: Summary: Havin' Oni withdrawls Review: I haven't enjoyed a game like this in a longtime. The graphics are great, skill levels wonderful and hours of fun. I love the alternate endings. Well if you haven't played Oni, you're missing out on what should be one of the best games of the year. Crack Monkey
Rating: Summary: Awesome game Review: First, this is GREAT game! Love the story, the character, and the action. Second, you CAN remap the keys. Inside install folder, look for key_config.txt file. Alter the keys listed, save, remapped! Third, the save point system is fine ats the beginnin, buts later the save points are too far aparts. Fourth, and the BIGGEST complaint is thats weapons on ground slowly vanish. Once one weapon is used ups, me would like to swap out to weapon over their... oops, it gone now. *slaps Bungie for BIG design flaw* Fifth, me would likes to carry two weapons. Me nots have game this much fun to play since Syndicate Wars.
Rating: Summary: This game rocks!!!!!!!! Review: If your into really great combat games this a great one. It is my favorite game! The only thing wrong was the saving. The rest is awsome!
