Summary: Westwood doesn't disappoint!
Review: Westwood games do not skimp on the portions!This expansion set adds an ENTIRELY NEW third army to the game to go up against the Allied and Soviet sides, who also have a few new units. The new "Yuri" army is not as tough, and must rely on psychic mind-control power to defeat the brute force of its opponents. An excellent concept, and very well-implemented. Good balance. There are a few new, challenging campaign missions to keep the single player occupied briefly, but you really want to get this if you're a multiplayer. There are excellent enhancements to multiplayer gaming, such as the ability to form alliances and choose starting locations before the game begins so that you don't wind up on the other side of the map from your ally. Great ideas. Kudos to Westwood!

Summary: Great add-on to an already great game; a must own
Review: Sometimes, the expansion pack is not all that it is cracked up to be, and many times, designers will put out an expansion pack laced with a few new units just to make you pay for their patch because they got so many things wrong with the original game. However, this time, the expansion pack could stand on its own. Yuri's Revenge would be a stand-alone if the single player campaigns were longer. Only 7 missions per side, but this isn't all that bad, considering that the missions are much harder now with Yuri's side now being the advisary. Needless to say, expect to replay a few of these missions. Even the veterans will have a little trouble figuring out the best methods to defeat Yuri. Some of the new additions are nice. The Allies finally have a heavy hitting Tank called the Battlefortress that can garrison 5 units. It can even crush other tanks and walls! Floating robot tanks also are new. The Soviets have a new building that will allow their production costs to decrease while their speed increases. The Spy Plane is also back. But the main feature of the game is the addition of the new side, Yuri's forces. They are mostly mind-controlling units or such as the like. Be warned: If you get into a shooting match with the Allies or Soviets while playing Yuri, you will lose. The key with Yuri's units is to take full advantage of the mind-control technique. You will even have defensive structures that will mind control units that come close to your base. This makes for an extrememly fortified base, though be warned that not all units can be controled. Overall, the new units in this game are very nice. The new movie sequences are much better than the original RA2 movies. The opening sequence is especially nicely done. The cheesy sequences are also fewer and far between now. Westwood sure did a nice job with this. Very good touch. This is a great expansion pack, much like what the Brood War was to Star Craft and The Conquerors was to AOE II. If you have RA2, don't even bother playing this demo first. Go ahead and buy it because it will be the rage very soon in the online strategy gaming front.

Review: I have played and beat both the Soviet missions and Allied an this game rocks!! I can't wait till Yuri's Revenge come's out. The missions are sometimes hard but once you get started winning you can't stop. It has very clear and very life like video brefiefings for all missions.

Review: This game has to be one of the best I have played in a long time. This is no Red Alert duplicate. It has tons of original gameplay and is all around an awesome game. I would highly recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of real-time strategy

Review: This game is awsome you can team up against Yuri in 10 co op missons or take him on alone. There are TONS of new units. This game is a must buy for C&C fans and I HAVE played it so the dude who said I did not play it well UP YOURS!!

Review: This game is going to be one of the best games westwood has ever come out with.There will be new units and a completely new team. Strategies will completely differ from those in RA2. Giving you a new challenge with harder enemies and stronger allies. I suggest buying this game if you like Strategy games or just plain like westwood games. This game is going to be AWESOME!!!!!

Summary: This Game Rocks!
Review: (Note: This is Writer50's son) Red Alert 2 features a new storyline (not pertaining to the old one), new units, new graphics, new sounds, and more depth, all of which are pretty good! Some of the old units have new features which add depth to the game. Like a Chrono Miner and the engineers ability to fix bridgers. The graphics are great for a game of this kind and if you know how to, you can edit the game in nearly every way. If you like war-strategy games or you liked Red Alert- Get This! Some people (like those other than me that wrote a review for this game) don't know what their talking about!
1. For those you complained about the story, they use the word DECEPTION, it isn't cheesy! It could happen!
2. People complaining about new weapons and the year: It's kind of hard to tell what year it takes place in, but the new units used in the game could be developed in the future!
3. Yuri is added to the game as the Second in Command for Russia, is that hard to understand? In the next game, Yuri wants to take over the world :) This Game Is Great!

Review: I am a die hard red alert 2 fan. I think this expansion will be westwood's best ever. i am definetly buying it. And if you like ra2 as much as I do then you should buy it too.
