Summary: You gotta be kidding!
Review: The concept of this game is well intended but the realism and visability are terrible! I put the game aside after the first map. It is a game that goes on and on and on... Multiplayer is bad because the maps are large and visiblity again is terrible. In order to halfway play decently you need the aid of night vision even in day-time environments...

Summary: Awesome.
Review: I was very impressed with the sound, the noise of automatic gunfire is just dead on target, to the point that I can actually tell whether a shot was fired by a team member or a soviet soldier by sound of the weapon. Sound usually doesn't add or subtract much from a game for me (unless it's absolutely atrocious), but hearing the quiet of the outdoors suddenly shattered by automatic weapons fire brought to bear on an unknowing column of soldiers is a huge rush.

Summary: As Close as you can get to war.
Review: In the game Ghost Recon you get everything. Cool weapons, action, and real battlefield sounds! This game is a must have and my 11 year old brother loves it. Now people who read this might think "He's 11 years old and he plays that game?!" Well my mom and dad think if he can understand that death isn't good then he can play war games, and watch any war movie. Saving Private Ryan being his favorite. Now back to the game. If you want a good war game then Tom Clancys Ghost Recon is the game for you!

Summary: The Best Tactical Shooter Ever!
Review: It is great! Hours of heart pounding action.

Summary: A must have!!
Review: This game is one of my favorite games and has every thing that a great game should. The missions are great the guns are sweet and the soldiers look real. One of my favorite things is that all of the rates of fire are also true to life. This game takes a brain to operate and complete successfully. The mission variety is awesome, in one mission you get to blow up 2 sub pens in another you have to blow a bridge(both followed by a sweet cut scene!) The specilists are very important and I think are the only way to beat the game and they are fun to get and use. The only drawback is that if one of your squadmembers die you can't pick up and run with their weapon. That stinks but this game is my favorite game of all and I can't wait until the mission pack #1 is coming out on March 27th, that will be nice.

Summary: The Ultimate Game of Hide and Seek
Review: The reason that I like this game so much over normal shooters, is that it's not an all out shoot'em up brawl. There is some stratagy involed. I love to sneak up on the enemy, and in this game that is plenty useful.

Summary: GHOST RECON
Review: Ghost Recon is a wonderful game. Top quality graphics and great single player gamplay are wonderful features to have while playing this intense game. Ghost Recon also has a single player, well instructed range of different training courses. I also appreciate the arsenal. I think it is the best rainbow six game ever!!!

Review: ...

When I started the first mission, I had my doubts. I was getting nailed left and right, and found the command system (which you have to pop up in the middle of each mission to re-orient your men) distracting and inefficient. I finally was able to "win" the first mission and move on to the next. This was when I started to hit my stride.

First of all, after each successful mission, the mission participants are able to add "combat points" to certain skills (weapon, stealth, endurance, and leadership). This means your men (if they survive) get better each time. This actually forms and attachment to them that makes you want to keep them alive. This has the added affect of making each mission more tense; if you're crawling around a landscape worried about losing your men, you will be especially careful about moving.

The second thing I noticed after mission one was that the first mission was the worst. The landscape was boring and the mission uninspiring. If you do not enjoy the game after the first mission, try the second before giving up.

A couple of other things I noticed:

This game is incredibly realistic. Like Rainbow 6 (its predecessor), you and your team can be taken down in a single bullet or strafe. Unlike Rainbow 6, most of the time the enemy is smart. They hit the ground the moment you start firing, run for cover, and suppress you and your team's movement. For instance, if you fire on a squad that includes a member with a M60 like machine gun, that enemy will fire randomly in your direction to get you to lay low or run for cover. And with the wonderful sounds of this game, when someone opens up on you with 500 rounds per minute, it makes you jump out of your seat.

The only issues I had with this game (and what kept it from getting 5 stars) were minor. First, sometimes the AI is faulty. While the enemy is smart, some times they walk right past you (even when you are not hidden) and let you shoot them in the back. Other times your team members are not smart enough to take cover or only use a silenced weapon when in an enemy POW camp. The other issue is that if I run the game for more than an hour, I usually have to shut down and restart to regain enough memory and swap space to run the game smoothly - especially if it is a mission with a lot of tanks or other troops.

Overall, however, this is the best military shooter out there. It is far more realistic than Medal of Honor or Flash Point (although those are fun too). Can't wait for the expansion, although I wish they had Afghanistan on the expansion!

Summary: Involved game without the complex keystrokes
Review: First of all, you don't need to be a contortionist with triple jointed fingers to play this game. The AI (artifical intelligence) of the non-player controlled characters is some of the best I have seen, and it should be even better when the patch comes out in (scheduled) February. You have total control without having to tell the character when to breathe. This is not the game for impatient run and gunners. But its also not a sit on your butt game. There is a great combination of strategic thinking and heart racing firefights incorporated into this simulation. With three levels of difficulty, it should cater to gamers of all experience levels. The US version of the rules book is 60 pamphelet size pages of screenshots and directions, which compared to many other detailed games is quite concise. You don't need to read a thousand page technical manual just to turn the program on. It also seems to run very nicely on all of the most recent audio and video cards. Again, the few bugs it does have will be addressed with the patch. One comment to the negative, CHECK THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS versus your machine. This is not to say don't buy it if you meet the minimums but this "game" has so much to offer you'd be missing out on some very impressive graphics and audio effects.

Summary: Unbelievable!
Review: This game is the best yet by Clancy. It brings back the original feel lie the first time you played Rainbow Six. The sequels up to this were alright by this one takes the cake. It's like a bag of chips and the dip too..... It is in my view the best solo game ever. The two bigest improvements are the realistic sound and ease of controls. Red Storm simplfied the changing of weapons, team movement and toogle. Most of all I wouldn't normally write a review but this one is worth every penny.

Can't wait for another Clancy game!
